I have four plays on Saturday's college football card that I like. First up I like Louisville to cover the spread at home against Miami. The stats say that Miami is the better football team than Louisville but I don't like that they've had a couple of close calls recently against decent competition. I think Lousiville happens to be the best team they've faced up until this point and going on the road might pose some challenges for Miami to the point where Louisville is a live dog Saturday. I will gladly take the 6 points in a game I expect to be close throughout.

Next up I have two plays in the same game as I like Kentucky and Florida to stay under the low total of 42. The Cats defense should be able to really disrupt the Florida offense especially since Florida has to go with their backup QB with Graham Mertz out for the year. On the other side of the ball Kentucky has trouble scoring this year so I feel comfortable that the Gators are going to be able to slow them down somewhat to make this a 20-17 type game which gives me the under.

As for my ML bet on the Cats I just think Mark Stoops gets his team ready for this particular game having won and covered three straight against the Gators. Something about Florida brings out the best in Kentucky under Mark Stoops so I think they win again Saturday to extend their winning streak in this series to 4.

Last but not least we have the marquee matchup of the day with Georgia and Texas going at it. I felt this line has gotten out of control because I think even though Texas has been the best team in the country Georgia is too deep and talented on both sides of the ball to lose by more than 4 points here. I expect this game to be close and it's one that I wouldn't be shocked if Georgia won a close one. Texas still has to prove they can beat a team like Georgia because they haven't beat anybody as good as Georgia this year. Both Michigan and Oklahoma are down this year so this will be a real test for Texas. I see this coming down to the last possession so I feel like 5 points is generous in this one.

All my Friday bets cash as both baseball plays easily went over and Sabrina Ionescu cleared her rebound+assist prop like I thought she would in a competitive game 4. Unfortunately for me the Liberty lost that game which means both my series bets are losers. It's a shame really that a great game came down to a whistle in the closing seconds but that's the way it goes and now the W gets a game 5 between the best two teams in the league in what has been a pretty darn good series for the league championship.

I still like the Liberty but the gap between the two teams is smaller than I realized. The Lynx are tremendous defensively and that's why they've won 2 games but I lean the Liberty in the fifth and decidng game because I don't think Stewie will play so poorly at home unlike game 4 where she was awful.

I'm also hoping to see Liberty secure their 1st Championship title, especially at home. It's gonna be a good game tomorrow.

Adding these two plays to my Saturday action. First up in the MLB I will keep pounding over 7.5 in the LCS matchup between the Yankees and Guardians. Both teams are absolutely raking now and 7.5 is just too low a total not to take the over imo. Both bullpens are taxed and struggling to get outs in this series so I see another over today in this series that has featured plenty of home runs from both teams which have aided the over.

My play in NHL is on Florida ML at home against Vegas because Vegas hasn't been good on the road. The Panthers lost last time out at home but they were coming off a long road trip. I think they get right here at home against Vegas so I took a shot with them on the ML.

Not a tremendous Saturday betting wise but that's going to happen when you have a lot of action sometimes. I went 1-3 in college football with only Georgia covering and ending up winning outright.

My MLB play fell short by the hook but probably shouldn't have been that close with how the two teams pitched tonight. The Yankees will be well rested for game 1 of the World Series which is probably welcome for Aaron Boone because he really had to overextend his pitching staff in this series just to get through the Guardians.

My only other winner of the night came in the NHL and it took Florida overtime to do it but I'll take it on a day where I finished down on the day. Now on to NFL Sunday with some good matchups on the card. I'll try to get back on track on a day where I will probably focus on the NFL although I might have a play on MLB game 6 between the Mets and Dodgers.

I feel good about all these plays and though I used Miami ML in the best bet thread the play I made that I think is the strongest bet is Green Bay -3. I say this because Houston is banged up both on offense and defense so the Packers should be able to take advantage. I like them to cover the spread and get the win at home.

Well I go 1-3 with only the Seahawks covering and winning outright against the Falcons. The Packers won but didn't cover and the Niners plus Dolphins don't win today. Not a great football weekend betting wise but I was bound to cool off as this has been a pretty good month for me overall.

That was an instant classic game 5. I know a lot of people don't pay attention to WNBA but this series between the Lynx and Liberty was entertaining to say the least. The Lynx have nothing to be ashamed of they played their hearts out but New York was just a tad bit better.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3.5 -104 1.04u to win 1u

Very limited slate tonight so just one play from me. I'm taking the +3.5 points here with Tampa Bay at home against Baltimore. I expect this to be a very competitive game between two good teams and I'm taking the points here because I believe the Buccaneers are a live dog to upset Baltimore at home with how well Baker Mayfield has played this season. Even if they don't win I think this game could come down to a late field goal so I'll gladly take +3.5 with the Bucs at home.

This play makes me nervous because Tampa Bay is banged up on defense and that's what concerns me the most. However, their offense has played well this year so I'm rolling with them tonight because I think they'll be able to keep up with the Ravens.

0-1 night tonight as Baltimore boatraces Tampa early but holds on to win by 10. I know the Chiefs are undefeated but I still think the Ravens are the one team that can easily win a rematch with the Chiefs. In fact I believe they are the best team in the league despite what the records say. We'll just see if Lamar can play at an elite level in the playoffs which hasn't always happened during his career and is why the Ravens have fallen short in the past. Also I'm not sure you can win too many games giving up 31 points like that in January but the Ravens offense is rolling right now they just need to shore up their defense if they want to really be legit Super Bowl contenders.

I see KC's first week is against the Ravens. Just imagine if they meet again in the final super bowl game. That would be awesome!

But I'm also rooting for Washington vs KC in the finals.
