Thought I was going to go 2-0 today but Maryland went cold in the second half long enough to let Ohio State back in the game and Maryland wasn't able to go over their team total. Portland continues to play well in the Association as they are another one of those teams that really isn't that good but has been playing better lately so they've been rewarding their backers and cashing tickets left and right.

Same on Maryland. I lost by the hook on that one. Unbelieveable that Ohio St came back and the 3 pt shot with 9 seconds left was crushing.

I'm playing UCONN tonight on this short slate in part because I think the Johnnies are on their high horse after beating Marquette and this game against the Huskies will be a buzzsaw they're walking into. That plus the fact that UCONN is playing much better lately has me thinking this number is too short for the Huskies not to cover at home so I'm laying the points.

In the association I'm taking Philly on the ML and paying the extra tax because I think with their big three playing tonight they'll win this game. Detroit has been playing good lately so I think this is going to be close and I'm not sure Philly covers but I do think they'll win with Embiid back making the ML the play for me.

The night didn't go as planned as St. Johns scored another impressive victory over UCONN and Philly got blown out by Detroit on the road. St. Johns is starting to be one of those teams that I'm going to either have to back or stay away from their games because clearly going against them isn't working for me. They're good and they're well coached so I think this isn't a fluke that they're beating all these top tier teams in the Big East. This team will be a tough out in March and I can see them going on a run.

Yeah it's tough but sometimes you cap a game and it just doesn't go your way for whatever reason. St. Johns is tough but I think I would have made this play again unfortunately UCONN let them back in the game.

2-1 day yesterday as both my college plays hit with Clemson winning outright and Arkansas rallying late to cover in their loss against Alabama. Memphis lost to OKC to prevent a perfect sweep for me but I'll take the 2-1 day heading into the Super Bowl. I think I'm going to take it easy today with my Super Bowl bets being my only action on the day especially since the card in the other sports on today is very light.

@Jrgum3 I know its SB Sunday but I'm eyeing that NC @ Clemson game manana.
NC struggling this year but can Clemson follow up and not have a letdown after the Duke upset.

Should be a good one to watch.

Well that was a pretty bad Super Bowl. I'd probably be saying the same thing if I didn't bet the Chiefs because that was over at halftime and I at least wanted to see a competitive game. Bets were so so I hit Philly team total over at halftime and the longest field goal but had to settle for a push on the first half under. All my other bets lost but you win some you lose some and tomorrow is another day. At least the over hit so my free play cashed and I have money to play with on Heritage so there is definitely a silver lining to the Chiefs getting dismantled.

Yeah that's a tough one because Clemson is very good at home. UNC has struggled this season for sure and I don't know if I can trust them even against a Clemson team coming off a big win.
