I initially wasn't going to play anything today but I decided to have a couple of looks on this IST final. First I can't bet against Lebron in a win or go home game. He will play more than 22 minutes here unless its another blowout but I don't see the Pacers getting run out of the gym. Lebron is going to have to put the team on his back if the Lakers are going to win so I'm taking his over Points prop here. I think he can drop 30+ tonight and he most likely will in a close game where he'll have to take over down the stretch.

Next up I decided to take the under 242. An under in a Pacers game is always scary but this game is going to be played differently than most. It'll have a NBA Finals game 7 feel to it where both teams defensive intensity will be ramped up. I think it will end up like 120-115 which is still under this lofty total so under is the play for me.

I wish I were winning but the NBA is tough to beat especially early in the season. I don't mind doing the write ups because I like sharing my thought process behind my picks. Right now I'm losing but hopefully I turn it around soon so that we can start making some money together.

I loved your angle on that game going under like a game 7 scenario, also the total was set so high I can’t believe 232 is considered playing defense lol.

Brooklyn Nets +4.5 -110 1.1u to win 1u

First up I like Orlando in what is a revenge spot against the Cavs tonight. They just played them last week but that was in Cleveland and they couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat that night. Tonights game is in Orlando where the Magic play a lot better and I think that will be enough for them to take care of business against the Cavs who have been inconsistent this year.

Next up I'm playing on the Timberwolves catching 4 points on the road against New Orleans. Even though this game is in New Orleans I think the Wolves are the better team and I have to wonder about the Pelicans state of mind after the Lakers destroyed them in the IST and the team publicly called out Zion Williamson after the game. I think 4 points is a lot for them to cover here and I wouldn't be surprised if the Wolves won this won this one outright.

Last up I took the Nets +4.5 against the Kings. This feels like a few too many points even though the Nets are on the road here. The Kings have been up and down this season meanwhile the Nets have been covering spreads no matter whether they're at home or away. I didn't put anything on the money line here but I think the Nets are definitely live here so I wouldn't blame you if you did.

This seems to be a popular bet tonight as a lot of sharp action is on the Magic at home tonight. Hopefully they don't shoot a lot of bricks like they did last time out against the Cavs. I like the spot so hopefully they come through for us.

Hopefully tomorrow I start to turn it around because it is frustrating to lose like this even though I understand its a marathon not a sprint and there's plenty of time to turn this around.

Tonight I went all totals because I had a tough time with some of these games deciding who's going to win and cover. I think a lot of these games will be close and I felt like I had a better read on the totals.

First up I took the under in the Lakers/Mavericks matchup because I think the Lakers defense has been impressive lately and the Mavericks will be without some key pieces. I lean to the Lakers winning this game and if they do I can see this being a lower scoring game because the Lakers will be able to shut down the Mavericks offense with some of their key players not playing tonight.

Next up I took the Warriors and Suns to go over the total tonight. I see this being a close game with plenty of offense so I went over the total of 234 here as the Suns will be getting back Bradley Beal tonight and hopefully Durant plus the Warriors have played better on the road so I see there being a lot of points scored in this one.

Lastly I went with the Clippers and Kings to go over the total tonight. This one will be a back and forth contest that features a high tempo so that led me to take the over because I can see either team winning this track meet of a game and the fact that I think it'll be a track meet will be good for my over.

Another 1-2 night but I guess I can't complain entirely because I should've went 0-3 but didn't thanks to the Warriors scoring a meaningless layup at the end of the game to send the total over the number. Also we found out tonight a little something about the Clippers as they absolutely destroyed Sacramento who was coming in on the second night of a back to back. This Clippers team is starting to round into form and may be a bet on team going forward if we pick our spots correctly.

Milwaukee Bucks 1H -3.5 1.13u to win 1u

First up tonight I took the Lakers ML. I know they may ultimately decide to rest one or both of Lebron and AD but I don't think it matters because the Spurs as we all know are a bad basketball team. I think the Lakers find a way to get it done here with or without their stars against a Spurs team that I expect to put up a fight at home before ultimately losing the game.

My second play is on the Bucks to cover the 1H line against the Pacers. The Pacers have given the Bucks fits this season in upsetting them twice so I don't think this a great matchup for the Bucks but I do think they come out a little more motivated to beat this Pacers team at home. I just don't know if they cover the full game line but I expect a good start at least and them to cover in the first half.

I think the Pacers woke this team up tonight and I hope they play in the playoffs because it would be a compelling series since the Pacers have shown that they're capable of giving Milwaukee a run for their money but in the end I feel the Bucks are superior and would end up taking that series 4-2 or something along those lines because the Pacers style won't work in the playoffs since you have to be able to get stops to win a 7 game series. I'll be back at it tomorrow hoping to build on Wednesday's success on a 7 game Thursday slate.
