mid level wannabe pro.
No. This was almost definitely a targeted hit, but there are many things in that video that scream amateur.

- pistol jammed multiple times, so he probably didn’t test fire it with his suppressor/ammo. Suppressors —especially when paired with subsonic ammo — can impact the way a weapon cycles and cause malfunctions.

- when he does get a malfunction, he seems to have a difficult time getting the firearm back into battery

- he shot him in the back and the leg

Agreed Archie - “pro” is a relative term.

A real pro - on the level of the suggested government coverup/conspiracy theorist level - you wouldn’t even know what happened. You’d just hear he took up flying or boating and his craft was missing.

This guy knew enough - but was no trained expert. Could be former military - but not a special forces level member.

Regardless - doubtful we ever find him until he allows us to (suicide) or till he tries to strike again. Likely headed to Canada and then somewhere in Eastern Europe or the Middle East.

This is going to be a great crime documentary in the making once all the investigation is done.

Very well may become 2024 version of DB Cooper.

A dude who was so well thought out in his approach that he did what most “trained” professional criminals couldn’t pull off - committing the crime and getting away without ever being caught.

What we know the CEO was staying across the street not in The Hilton which is strange
The killer had inside info where he was staying

Experts say could not of been personal he would of got up close and shot , paid killer

Cops got his garbage from Starbucks maybe some DNA on something

made a phone call?
went to Starbucks and was seen/heard by barista and camera?

didn't wear gloves?
dropped a phone?

discount pro?
All of these things seem to indicate --> Not a pro.
Maybe just well planned and "practiced".

I think his get away through Central Park is classic. Few/no cameras so he can blend in and change clothese to escape.

Leaving the water bottle and phone could be this guys downfall.

Seeing a lot of social media saying, if he's caught, the jury should do jury nulification to get him off.
A whole lot of people pissed at the health insurance industry and the profit they make while people are denied claims.

Deny, depose and defend are the three words found engraved on live rounds and shell casings left behind by the killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson Wednesday. A social media post has now claimed to have decoded the encrypted message and divulged the eerie link between the three words and the title of a book by Jay M Feinman 'Delay Deny Defend'. The book is about insurance companies which drag their feet on paying the claims and UnitedHealthcare is an insurance company. "Why insurance companies don't pay claims and what you can do about it," the description of the book reads.
"This is an EARTHQUAKE for corporate America," the viral X post said indicating that the killer must have been very angry with UnitedHealthcare.

was thinking maybe a husband who's wife or child needed a big medical procedure and was denied maybe this guy lost a wife or child united health makes billions yet raises prices all the time and A Senate report found that UnitedHealth's denial rate for post-acute services increased from 8.7% to 22.7% over a period of four years. The report also found that UnitedHealth's skilled nursing home denial rate increased ninefold.

can see some very angry people out there but this guy was caught on video dropped a water bottle and phone likely they got finger prints or dna so they gonna know who he is if they don't already and just aren't saying

Deny
Depose
Defend

Sounds like the practice if every insurance company in existence

Deny the claim.

Depose "expert" witnesses to defend denying the claim, if need be.

Defend the denial.

Why UnitedHealth?

Raw footage:

He was under investigation by the DOJ for insider trading. He sold 15.1 million dollars in shares a week before the news of the investigation went public. It’s probably one of the other CEOs being investigated as well. Perhaps Mr Thompson was going to talk.
* just a matter of time now. Took about 4 days to nab the Boston bombers in 2013. I doubt he eludes capture that long now someone will surely recognize him. That 10k reward should be bumped up to at least 100k.
