2-1 night as the Rams handle Minnesota easily and Memphis covers despite losing outright to Houston. Unfortunately I didn't have a perfect night since the UCLA game crept over during the final minute after looking like I had a good chance at a winner with the under. Hopefully I keep it going tomorrow with a bigger day of hoops action in both college and the NBA.

I got so lucky today. Bovada popped to +7.5 -114 and I jumped on it.
Shortly thereafter, Momcilovic was announced as out with hand injury and it dropped back to +5.

Yeah I saw your line in the best bet thread. It pays to bet early sometimes but in this case KU couldn't get it done. Still though you beat the closing line by 2.5 points so even though you lost that was a good bet and that's all you can do sometimes.

I beat the closing line but it was likely due to the late Momcilovic injury. Can't really take credit for CLV in those situations. Its more luck than not.

I locked in my plays for this weekend's NFL action. First up I went heavy in the prop market for the Chiefs game. I don't trust Houston to cover the spread but that's the way I lean because I think KC will be more than happy to do enough just to win the game and the spread is a little too wide imo to trust KC to cover. I do however like backing Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce to ball out in a playoff game because there's too much evidence supporting the fact that they will because they've done it so many times and I expect them to here against the Texans.

In the nightcap Saturday I like Detroit to win the game but I do think the Commanders will be competitive in this one. I'm not sure the Detroit defense has completely plugged up all their leaks
so I think the Washington offense and in particular Jayden Daniels will play well enough here to cover the double digit point spread Bookmaker is hanging right now.

In the first game Sunday I took the Eagles laying 6 at home against the Rams. While the Rams were very impressive against Minnesota I don't think they'll be able to duplicate that performance this week. They have to fly across the country and play in difficult weather conditions. I think Philly is built for this weather with Saquon Barkley doing most of the heavy lifting so I am backing them here to cover the six point spread.

Finally in the game that everyone is looking forward to on Sunday I like Baltimore. I think this is their year to finally get over the hump and make the Super Bowl with Lamar Jackson getting past his playoff demons. I could be wrong it wouldn't be the first time but I think the Ravens are the best team in football this year. Buffalo is good and Josh Allen is playing at a very high level but the Buffalo defense concerns me. I think Baltimore will move the ball at will in this one and they'll be able to win a very competitive game that might come down to the final possession.

Yeah that was a tough one. Seems like every time several of us are on a particular side they let us down. Just the way it goes but Michigan had been good up until yesterday so I think I would have made that play again since Minnesota hasn't been that great this year.
