Yeah it's tough to bet dogs especially in week 17 when you're counting on teams that have been eliminated to come through for you. That Falcons game though was a tough pill to swallow because they didn't even get the ball in OT which sucks because I think they could have at least scored on Washington but they didn't get the stop they needed.

I never said I was taking the Lions I just said that Dan Campbell was playing his guys and trying to win this game because that's what Campbell does. I'm on the Niners because I'm getting more than a Field Goal and other than the OL most of the Niners key players are playing including Bosa and I think that's a big deal. We'll see what happens but I think this will be more competitive than normal for a game that essentially means nothing to the Lions.

2-3 night tonight so some good and some bad tonight but that's how it's been for me this month mostly ups and downs but I keep plugging along. Tomorrow we finally have the playoff games resuming with Boise State and Penn State squaring off so I'm looking forward to that hopefully Boise keeps it close against Penn State. We'll see if I make any additional plays on the games tomorrow but there's plenty of action so I might have a few plays as I try to close out the year with some winners.

Yep they played everyone and the Niners for their part played their guys. Detroit is lucky because it seemed Bosa lived in their backfield but Goff made it through unscathed. I think the playoffs will be interesting because Detroits's defense is not that great but they did force two timely turnovers that allowed them to win by margin.

Ok so we go 2-2 on New Years Eve. I was worried about that Boise State play after I made it but I went with it and unfortunately Penn State broke off that long touchdown run to cover late. Boise had a great year but lets face it you can't win games like this when your best player is mostly contained by the opposing team and you're forced into mistakes which is what happened to Boise imo. Oh well I'm looking forward to tomorrow's playoff games they all should be good games.

So Notre Dame game gets postponed and my bet was canceled by BOL. In this case I'm not going to count it as a push in my record but rather a no play. I may play it again tomorrow but I haven't decided yet. If I do I'll post it but nothing has changed I still like Notre Dame in this game when it does get played.

Both college football plays were losers as Texas survives and advances which is all that matters and Ohio State destroys Oregon leaving no doubt that they're the best team in the country right now. It's going to be hard to beat them but anything can happen in these playoffs and each game is different. I just have a hard time seeing this version of Ohio State losing to any of the remaining teams because they're playing with a ton of confidence and swagger which might be what they needed to get over the hump.

I did salvage my day with a Philadelphia cover by the hook in the NBA so I go 1-2 on the day. Tomorrow I'm leaning towards not playing anything in the Notre Dame game because Notre Dame is now a favorite in the game but again I like them in a lower scoring game that could go either way. I just happen to like the way Notre Dame is playing and I think Georgia has been overvalued all year long and their luck is about to run out.

Just a quick note about the Sugar Bowl I decided to play Notre Dame ML. The sharps moved this line from them being a dog to being a favorite and I'm riding that. Also I like Notre Dame and the way their playing so I think they get it done here against a Georgia team that is starting its backup QB. I really believe Georgia struggles to put points up here on Notre Dame's elite defense and Notre Dame will be able to run the ball in this game so I'm taking them to win this game.

3-1-1 last night as Notre Dame takes care of business against Georgia. It wasn't pretty but the game did play out like I thought it might with the Bulldogs struggling to put up points against the Irish defense and the Irish capitalizing on Georgia's mistakes plus making some huge plays on special teams. Hopefully I build on yesterday's success and find some more winners Friday.
