1-2 day as my only winner was an easy one with Minnesota tonight. Miami almost came back and covered against Detroit in OT but they ended up losing the game outright so I go 0-1 in NBA. Back at it tomorrow with the Cup championship in NBA plus some college hoops.

The Lakers took it over Indiana and hung a banner. I think the league wants its winner to make a big deal out of it so the Lakers did after they beat the Pacers because they were the first to win one.

This will be the biggest test for Florida this year.

I was torn on making the same play. NC hasn't beaten anyone except Dayton in top 50 and that one was only by 2. So, I backed off.

UNC has been bad this year by their standards but they've played a really difficult schedule while Florida hasn't played anybody. This game is in Charlotte too so despite being a "neutral" site game it's essentially a home game for UNC. I don't like UNC personally but I have to put personal bias aside and take the points here because this is the best team Florida has played all year and I think it's very possible they lose tonight.

Well I stay cold and lose all three bets today although the two college hoops games were at least entertaining games that I happened to be on the wrong side of. I wish I played the bowl game but I just played it in the bowl contest because the numbers there are better numbers than I could've gotten at the sportsbook with all the heavy steam on Memphis and the over. Both end up hitting so congrats if you didn't shy away from either betting Memphis or the over in this one. Bowls are tough to bet because there's so many moving parts with everybody sitting out, coaches getting fired and the like so I don't know if I'll be playing many bowl games this year with the exception of the playoff games and of course in the bowl contest where the lines stay the same.

4 plays today for me as I dabble a little in NHL with no NBA on the board today. I'm tailing LT on Utah but my numbers indicate that most of the sharp action is on Utah so I'm backing them here and hoping for the best.

I like UNLV in their bowl game with CAL just because CAL is starting a new QB which is the reason the line flipped from CAL being a favorite to now being a dog of over a Field Goal. I do think this will be somewhat close and lean under but the total moved down 5 points so I'm staying away and just asking UNLV to win the game by taking them on the ML.

In college hoops I'm backing Virginia today and while I don't feel overly confident about it I'm doing it because I think Memphis is a tad inconsistent and will revert back to not playing their best here against Virginia allowing the Cavs to get the cover. I also took the points in the Washington State game with their old rival Washington because I think they can win this outright since they're playing better than Washington right now and I'm getting points.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the sweep as Washington State gets blown out by Washington. Tomorrow NBA is back with a pretty big slate and we get a pretty good NFL game between the Chargers and the Broncos so I'll be back with some more plays.
