I really like both teams in the Arizona State game but ultimately I trust ASU more. I think they get it done today and keep winning. As for Texas I agree that one could go either way but I took the Horns here in a revenge spot. I also like that they played well last week against A&M in the most hostile of environments while UGA struggled against Georgia Tech. Maybe you're right about UGA though Kirby Smart will have his team prepared for this game and UGA in big games are solid under his watch. However, I just don't like what I've seen from UGA this year so I'm backing Texas here because I think they're the best team in the country.

Well it seems there are a lot of sharp people that agree with you because the line has actually flipped and ASU is the dog. Honestly this game could go either way but I just like how ASU is playing right now and I decided to roll with them to get it done. BOL Tanko like you said one of us will be smiling tonight.

Just one more play for me on today's card and I'm going to the massive tilt between Kentucky and Gonzaga tonight from Seattle on a neutral floor. I can't pull the trigger with my Cats getting 6 here because the status of Lamont Butler at this time is unknown and if he doesn't play the Cats are in trouble and this line will probably go up. He's the Cats most important player because he's their best defender not to mention the offense runs better with him on the floor. I do like this total to go over the lofty number of 166.5 because both these offenses are high powered and shoot a lot of threes. I think this will be a fast paced game where both teams will score in the 80's and if that happens this will go over with ease.

2-2 day as college football didn't go my way but my Cats got a huge win and since it went to OT I was able to cash my over ticket which wouldn't have got there if the Cats won on the final possession of regulation. Great game though from a fan perspective both teams are really good and will get better because they played in a high level game in December.

2-2-1 day today so hopefully tomorrow goes a little better although I'm happy with my 2-1 day in NBA because these cup games are tough to cap. I turned to the prop market because I feel like there is some value in some of these props for these games whereas the spreads and totals are tougher to cap. For instance I didn't want to lay 7 with the Bucks against the Magic because I thought that was too many points despite the fact I felt the Bucks would probably win which they did. Instead of taking a shot on the depleted Magic I went with Giannis to go over his points prop and he easily cleared it against a Magic team that has nobody that can stop him now that some of their better defenders aren't in the lineup.

I know the championship of the cup doesn’t count towards regular season record, but what about the games yesterday and today?

Today's games are cup games and the games Thursday and Friday are regular season games for the teams that didn't make the cup. The games yesterday and today count towards the regular season standings but the championship game will not. It's confusing but I guess it's done to drum up interest in the regular season games in December and I'm not sure it's doing that.

Split right down the middle today as I go 1-1 in college hoops and 2-2 in the NBA cup hitting one prop and losing the other while losing my total play in the Knicks game but hitting the Warriors on the spread. I'm glad I didn't take the ML there as those 2.5 points were valuable in a close game like this that literally came down to a foul call. Not much action tomorrow although I'll probably have something on the TNF game between my Niners and the Rams.
