I go 0-3 in NFL Monday night and cash my bases play on the Cards. I was shocked when I had a chance to get there with the total on Monday Night Football but of course Jalen Hurts threw a pick. I'm not even mad at the result because that's how it goes sometimes. That game had no business coming close to the total going over as neither offense played great. I was shocked that the Eagles lost that game because Atlanta doesn't impress me but if we're being honest I'm not impressed with the Eagles either even though their offense looked pretty good in week 1.

1-1-1 day as the Giants cash easily but the Padres lose a tough one in extra innings to the Stros. My WNBA play was a push and now that the regular season is just about done we'll see if I bet any WNBA playoffs. I might do that but like I said in previous posts I'm trying to focus most of my action on football and spot betting in baseball for the time being.

They only play a 40 game season., I actually kind of like it I wish the NBA would do something similar to their season and play about 50-60 regular season games.

Just one play for me today and it's on the Mets to cover the run line against the Nats. The Mets are fighting for a playoff spot and they're playing like contenders so I'm going to back them here to not only win but do it in style against the Nats and continue their recent hot streak.

1-0 day today as the Mets get it done in style 10-0 over the Nats. They have the look of a team that could win it all just because they're getting hot at the right time and anything can happen in a short series. Anyway on to tomorrow and Thursday night football between the Jets and the Pats. Hopefully it's the start of a much better week 3 for me after I got wrecked last week in the NFL.

If I had to choose one from each I'd say USC -4.5 is my best bet in college football and I like the Falcons at home on SNF to at least cover against the Chiefs who are struggling right now on offense and doing just enough to win games but I feel like it'll be similar to last week against the Bengals where it comes down to a field goal from Butker to win the game for them because they are having trouble punching it in the end zone right now.

Thanks Tanko I hope I can turn it around. As for being on the opposite of me well all I have to say is follow or fade it's your money and ultimately everyone should make their own decisions when gambling.

Philadelphia Phillies ML +125 1u to win 1.25u

Adding a play in bases in the showdown between the Mets and Phillies. I'm a little concerned fading the red hot Mets here a day after taking them to smack the Nats which they did but I think the Phillies have value here as a fairly big dog against the rival Mets. They took 2 of 3 last week and their starting pitcher Taijuan Walker held the Mets scoreless in three innings last week. I'm taking a shot with the Phillies at plus money because I can't pass up the value on them tonight.

1-1 night as the Jets did what they were supposed to do and bottle up the Pats at home on a short week. Unfortunately I faded the Mets and they took care of the Phillies once again scoring double digit runs. Hard to fade that team right now but I'm just happy I won in NFL because maybe it's a sign of things to come for week 3.

Yeah I think Matt Rhule has himself a winner in Friola. I really like Rhule I think Nebraska made the right hire at HC finally and that will go a long way to them being back to relevancy in college football.

2-2 day today with James Madison and Iowa winning impressively but USC dropping a tough one on the road to Michigan and Tennessee handling Oklahoma. On to tomorrow's NFL slate where I'm again going with the 4 plays I have already and not adding anymore.

Another 2-2 day in NFL as Baltimore and Pittsburgh win but the Niners choke away the game late and it goes over plus the Falcons don't cover in their loss to the Chiefs. We'll see what I cook up for Monday with two NFL games on the schedule.

I'm only playing the game between the Jags and Bills because I see value there in that game with the Jags. This is a spot where we're going to attempt to buy low with the Jags who are 0-2 but have played well enough to win on defense. Their offense does need to get it together but I think they can do that here against the Bills. Last week the Bills defense played lights out against the Dolphins but in week 1 they looked average against the Cards. I think the Jags will be able to move the ball on them here similarly to what they did against them last year when they won against the Bills in London. So I'm backing the more desparate team here to come out and not only cover but get their first win of the year on Monday Night football.

For what it's worth I lean the Bengals in the second game but I don't like the number right now. I think they win but I'm not sure they cover. I just don't want to trust the Commanders to beat the spread against a desperate Cincy team whom I expect to be sharp on both sides of the ball in a game they need to win. It's a no play for me but I do think Cincinnati plays their best game of the year and wins Monday night.
