First up I like Golden State to go on the road and beat the Hawks. I went against the Hawks last night and got burned because they're playing better basketball lately but I still don't trust them to win games because they're not very good defensively. I think the Warriors will give them problems here as they've been playing better since Draymond Green returned to the lineup. Jonathan Kuminga has really stepped up and the Warriors offense has been better since Draymond started at Center and Kuminga played along side him. So give me the Warriors to win this one outright.

Next up I'm going back to the Knicks whom I've back an awful lot in this thread. I think the Lakers will have trouble scoring on this Knicks defense tonight and that's the primary reason I've backed the Knicks a lot in this thread because they've been really good defensively this season. Now that they don't have Randle for the next couple of weeks they've had to rely on players like Donte Divencenzo and their defense to win games and I think they can get it done here against a Laker team that is struggling despite an impressive win against the Celtics on the road last time out without their stars playing.

Tough 0-2 night Saturday as both the Knicks and Warriors lose outright. Thought I'd at least get the split because Steph had 60 but they got outplayed in overtime by the Hawks who continued their winning ways of late. We'll see what Sunday brings since its a bigger card so I'll try to find some winners.

Sorry guys but I was without power for most of the day Sunday so I didn't make any plays in the NBA Sunday. Back at it today with a couple of plays to make up for it.

Jonathan Kuminga o19.5 points -125 1.25u to win 1u
Atlanta Hawks +4.5 -113 1.13u to win 1u

First up I like Jonathan Kuminga to score at least 20 points tonight in what figures to be a high scoring game between the Nets and Warriors. Ever since Kuminga has been reinserted into the Warriors lineup he has been a consistent scorer for them having gone over this number 8 out of the last 10 games. With the game projected to be high scoring by the oddsmakers I think Kuminga continues his recent good play and scores at least 20 points in tonights game.

My next play is on the Hawks at home catching 4.5 points against the Clippers. The Clippers have been playing awesome on this road trip but this is the last game of a very long road trip and normally teams that are on extended road trips don't fare too well in the last game of the road trip. I think the Hawks are live to continue their recent hot streak tonight but at the very least I like them to cover the 4.5 points at home against a tired Clippers side who is probably satisfied with how this road trip has gone since they're 5-1 on this current trip.

Tough luck tonight as the Hawks lose by 5 and don't cover the 4.5. It's tough to back them because they are terrible defensively. It's the reason they are the worst ATS team in the league despite being on a mini 4 game winning streak where they beat some decent teams. At least Kuminga went over his points prop fairly easily to salvage a 1-1 night for me. On to tomorrow and a decent sized 7 game slate for a Tuesday so a chance for me to get it back.

Milwaukee Bucks +4 -108 1.08u to win 1u

First up tonight I like the Jazz playing at home against the Thunder. The Jazz are very good as a home underdog and the Thunder should be a little tired tonight as this is their 6th game in 9 days and also because they're coming into Utah off a double OT game. I think Utah is live to win this game but I'll take the 3 points here.

My second play is on the Bucks plus the points in their showdown with the Suns. I think this will be a high scoring back and forth affair that could be a one possession game down the stretch. The Bucks haven't been good since Doc Rivers took over but I do think they can keep this one close on the road against the Suns who haven't been a great ATS team this season.

1-1 night tonight as the Jazz not only cover but win outright at home against the Thunder but the Bucks couldn't get it done for me with Giannis having to play without Dame and Brook Lopez. No excuses though the Suns were the better team and the Bucks continue to struggle under Doc Rivers leadership. Time will tell if the decision to listen to the players and make Doc a head coach again will backfire but it hasn't looked good so far.

First up I like the Warriors to win and cover on the road against Philadelphia. I like how the Warriors are playing on this current road trip plus the Sixers are all kinds of banged up with Joel Embiid out and Tyrese Maxey possibly missing this game. If Maxey ends up playing I still like the Warriors because they're in better recent form than the Sixers and I think Philadelphia is just not the same since Embiid went down which is completely understandable.

My next play is on the over in the Boston/Atlanta game. I look for this to be a track meet in Boston and while I don't trust Boston to cover 12.5 at home I do think they'll score a lot of points here against a defenseless Atlanta squad who likes to play fast. Atlanta should be able to get their share of points here too as a fast paced game favors more scoring and I look for a track meet here and the total to go over 244.

1-1 tonight with an easy winner with the Warriors after a slow start and an unreal loss with the Celtics/Hawks game which admittedly I wasn't watching but I thought I for sure was going to get there with my over after a high scoring 1st half but alas I fell one three short of cashing. Onto the next but its frustrating to lose like that when you thought you had it.
