I'm going to be perfectly honest I didn't really like today's NBA card from a side and total perspective so I went with a couple of player props for my plays today. First up I like Pascal Siakem to go over 19.5 points. Tyrese Haliburton is back tonight and that's important because that'll boost the Pacers offense even though he is expected to be on a minutes restriction. Siakem has been averaging 21.3 points per game since joining the Pacers and I think playing with Haliburton will create more scoring opportunities for him and the rest of the Pacers so I'm taking Siakem to score over 19.5 points tonight.
My next play is on Andrew Wiggins to go over 13.5 points today. Wiggins has been largely inconsistent this season but since moving back into the starting lineup and playing alonside Draymond Green Wiggins has played much better. I think he can go over this prop because he's getting minutes closer to 30 minutes a game and with Draymond Green there to facilitate the offense he's getting open looks. So I think 13.5 is pretty low considering he's getting the playing time now necessary to go over this number which is why I'm playing this prop over the number.

I'm trying my damndest but it's tough to get anything going. Seems like when I win 3 or 4 in a row I slide back to losing 2 or three and give it all back. Hopefully that doesn't happen here and I continue winning but NBA is a tough sport to handicap.

My first play is on Damian Lillard to go over his points prop tonight against his former team the Portland Trailblazers. I couldn't pass up backing Dame here against his former team because I think he'll want to show out especially coming back to Portland for the first time as a visitor. He has gone over this number 5 out of the last 9 games and this is a fairly soft matchup for him so I took a stab at this prop.
My second play is on the Rockets again at home against the Pelicans. These two teams are currently headed in opposite directions over the last 5 games so I like the form that Houston is in both ATS and SU meanwhile New Orleans is struggling having lost 3 out of 4 and 4 out of 5. The Rockets are tough at home so I think they're live to win outright here but I took the 2.5 points because I'm not sure they should be underdogs here but I'll gladly take Houston at home plus the points against a reeling Pelican squad.

Tough luck today as Houston got blown out at home and Dame finished a bucket short of going over his points prop in a loss to his former team. Tomorrow is another day as I try to pick myself up on a small 4 game card on a Thursday.

New York Knicks -2.5 -114 1.14u to win 1u
Utah Jazz -5 -107 1.07u to win 1u
First up today I like the Knicks to continue their recent hot stretch against the Indiana Pacers at home tonight. The Knicks are missing Julius Randle and OG Anunoby but that hasn't mattered as they're 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games largely due to their depth. The Pacers have done a good job since Pascal Siakem arrived playing without Tyrese Haliburton but I think that catches up with them here. I'm taking the better team at home to cover this short number and continue their recent strong play.
Utah is in a good position here tonight against the Sixers. The Sixers are on the last leg of a 5 game road trip and they're struggling mightily thanks to Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey both being hurt. The Jazz have been inconsistent but this a great spot for them at home against a shorthanded Sixer team that should be pretty tired having been on the road so long and coming into Utah where visiting teams just don't play well. I think the Jazz win easily here and cover the 5 points in the friendly confines.

1-1 night tonight as the Knicks rallied shorthanded behind Jalen Brunson's monster 40 point game and got the cover but the Jazz lost because they couldn't stop Tyrese Maxey. The Jazz are a tough team to back at times because they're so inconsistent. They theoretically should've won this game against a shorthanded Sixer team in their own building where they play well but they had no answer for Tyrese Maxey who is going to continue to have games like this now that Embiid is out indefinitely with his latest injury.

pretty good effort considering the volume. GL in getting into + territory by the conclusion.. Think you can accomplish that feat.

Phoenix Suns -3.5 -110 1.1u to win 1u
Just one play today for me today on a very tough 10 game card. I like Phoenix on the road here to cover against the Hawks. For me this is quite simple Phoenix is healthy now and playing better ball as of late not to mention Atlanta has been one of the worst ATS teams in the league both home and away. I think Phoenix will win this game and be able to cover this short number in a game that might be competitive but I have to ride with the better team to cover on the road especially since the number is so short.

0-1 night tonight as Phoenix loses outright on the road against Atlanta who shot the ball pretty well and just outplayed the Suns from start to finish. On to the next one hopefully I can back on track on a smaller 6 game Saturday card.

Golden State Warriors ML +100 1u to win 1u
New York Knicks -3 -113 1.13u to win 1u
First up I like Golden State to go on the road and beat the Hawks. I went against the Hawks last night and got burned because they're playing better basketball lately but I still don't trust them to win games because they're not very good defensively. I think the Warriors will give them problems here as they've been playing better since Draymond Green returned to the lineup. Jonathan Kuminga has really stepped up and the Warriors offense has been better since Draymond started at Center and Kuminga played along side him. So give me the Warriors to win this one outright.
Next up I'm going back to the Knicks whom I've back an awful lot in this thread. I think the Lakers will have trouble scoring on this Knicks defense tonight and that's the primary reason I've backed the Knicks a lot in this thread because they've been really good defensively this season. Now that they don't have Randle for the next couple of weeks they've had to rely on players like Donte Divencenzo and their defense to win games and I think they can get it done here against a Laker team that is struggling despite an impressive win against the Celtics on the road last time out without their stars playing.
