First up I took a player prop tonight in the Knicks vs Grizzlies game. I think it's clear that one player the OG Anunoby trade helped the most on the Knicks is Isaiah Hartenstein. He's been a rebounding machine ever since they made this deal and has been routinely getting more than 11 rebounds every game. The Grizzlies have been allowing opposing big men to go over this number routinely since they really lack size outside of Jaren Jackson Jr. So I like Hartenstein to continue his rebounding proficiency and get at least 12 rebounds tonight.

My next play I like tonight is the Jazz to keep it going at home against the Lakers. This line is basically asking you who you think will win the game so I took the Jazz ML because I think they can and will beat this struggling Laker team at home where they've been tough on visiting teams.

All right another 2-0 night as Hartenstein easily cashes by grabbing 20 boards and Utah outlasts the Lakers at home to pick up another victory. The Jazz are making a push towards the playoffs and would be in the play in game if the season ended today which is amazing to me because I didn't think they were this good. I still really don't think they're a great team but they may make the play in game since they only have to be in the top 10 in the standings.

LA Clippers -2 -110 1.1u to win 1u
Milwaukee Bucks -4.5 -111 1.11u to win 1u

First up I like the Clippers to continue their hot stretch on the road against the Wolves. This is a tough matchup but I think the Clippers are up to the task here as they shoot better on the road and should be able to score enough here against that vaunted Minnesota D to cover the spread.

Next up I took the Bucks laying 4.5 against the Kings at home. The Bucks did play last night and the Kings were off but in this spot the Bucks have done well ATS so I'm going to trust them here at home against the Kings to cover this spread. Hopefully I don't get burned betting against the Kings again but the Bucks have been money in this spot going 30-19 ATS when laying single digits at home on a back to back coming off a double digit win and they've dominated the Kings in recent meetings. That's enough for me to back the Bucks here to cover the short number at home on the second night of a back to back.

Anthony Edwards is questionable with a knee contusion. The Clippers were +1 at open but the line flipped because people are betting the Clippers due to them being the better team as of late. It's probably going to be a close game but I like the Clippers in this spot because of how well they've been playing and how the Timberwolves have started to regress a little.

No problem I actually think the line stays where it is even if Edwards plays just because people are not as high on Minnesota as they were because they're 7-6 in the last 13 games and the Clippers have been covering spreads on the road and are 8-4 ATS on the road this season as road favorites.

My hot streak comes to an end as I go 0-2 but both games were pretty entertaining and close. Milwuakee won in overtime on a Dame Lillard buzzer beater but of course I didn't win because they didn't cover. The Clippers fought back from down 16 in the 2nd half but couldn't overcome Minnesota's stingy defense and lost the game by 4. I think Minnesota is every bit as good as their record especially at home because they play great defense. It's tough to score on them because they got good defenders at all five positions. Anyway I'll be back tomorrow with more plays and hopefully I get back on track.

Cleveland Cavaliers -3.5 -109 1.09u to win 1u
Indiana Pacers +7 -105 1.05u to win 1u

First up I like the Knicks to get another win and cover at home today against the Magic. The Magic have been relying on their defense all year to keep them in games and largely when they win they have played good defense. In this case though I think the Knicks offense is going to have their way against the Magic defense because the Knicks play much better on offense when at home. I like their defense to be able to hold the Magic in check enough to get the cover here at the Garden.

Next up I like the Cavs to cover this short number at home vs the Bulls. I think the Cavs are the better team than the Bulls and its because of their defense. This might be a sleepy spot for them coming back from Paris but I think they play enough defense for me to feel confident in backing them to cover here against an inconsistent Bulls team that has been playing better but coming up short against good teams like the Cavs.

My last play is on the Pacers to cover the spread against the Jazz. This one was tough for me because I like how this Jazz team is playing right now and they've been the hottest team in the league as of late. The market has finally caught up to that notion and made them 7 point favorites here against a Pacers team that is missing its best player in Tyrese Haliburton but I am backing the Pacers here because they've been playing well without Haliburton. Their defensive rating has actually been better without him and they still have a prolific offense so I think they can score enough here against the Jazz to stay within 7 points.

Tough day today as I go 1-2. New York blew a double digit lead in the second half and ended up losing a close game to the Magic in a low scoring defensive battle as I said tends to happen when the Magic win. At least the Cavs didn't let the Bulls hang around long enough to cover and ended up blowing them out for my only win on the day. The Jazz continue their hot streak by taking care of the Pacers at home. It's tough to bet against the Jazz in situations where they're at home and their opponent is on the second leg of a road back to back. I was wrong about this one as it was never close and to be honest I probably should have passed or went back to backing the Jazz I just thought it was too many points and an overreaction to their recent good play.

First up tonight I like the Sixers to cover against the Nuggets at home tonight. The Nuggets have question marks surrounding who's playing in this game as all 5 starters are listed as questionable. I don't think it matters whether those guys play or not I still like the Sixers to take care of business at home where they play better defense and should be able to hold this Denver team in check. For what its worth the line is telling me that Denver will play their guys but like I said I still like the Sixers at home to win and cover here because they play better at home both offensively and defensively.

Next up I took Phoenix to cover at home against a Kings team on the last leg of their road trip. The Kings lost a very difficult overtime game against Milwaukee so I'm fading them here against a Phoenix team that should have their full squad for one of the few times this year where they've had their big 3 playing in the same game. They should be able to take advantage of a Kings team that left it all out on the court in Milwaukee and probably will be a little worn out in this one.
