I bet totals some of the time with mixed results. I tend to bet overs in pace up games for slower teams like the Nuggets and I've hit those bets. BTW my name isn't Junior its Jase Gum and I'm the third. Real name is James but you can call me Jase.

New York Knicks -12 -108 1.08u to win 1u

First up I like the Wolves to bounce back here tonight against the Magic in Orlando. Minnesota is coming off a tough loss the other day where I backed them and it was a game that pretty close but still wound up a loss. They have been one of the best bounce back teams in the league as they've only lost back to back games once this season so I'm taking them here. Also the Magic are coming off a hard fought overtime win and even though they didn't play yesterday I can see them having trouble against a defensively stoudt Minnesota team.

Next up I like the Knicks tonight laying 12 against the Trailblazers. This is a huge spread but for good reason as the Trailblazers are in the midst of a long road trip and have back to back road games following this one so I think they'll be a little worn out. Not to mention the Knicks have absolutely been on fire since acquiring OG Anunoby and covering spreads to the tune of 4-0 ATS. I see that trend continuing here tonight as Portland has not been covering on this current trip when they've lost and I see New York winning this game as well as covering double digits.

OKC Thunder/Miami Heat o233 -110 1.1u to win 1u

Just two plays for me on today's 10 game card. First up I really like Boston tonight early against the Minnesota Timberwolves who had to travel from Orlando to Boston after they blew out Orlando. Originally I liked the full game number but it moved from -6 all the way up to -9 this morning so I'm just sticking with Boston in the first half because this is a revenge spot for Boston since Minnesota handed them their first loss earlier in the season. I expect them to come out strong and cover the 5 points in the first half.

Next up I like the Thunder and Heat to go over 233. Without Jimmy Butler in the lineup the Heat play faster and this is definitely a pace up game with the Thunder in town. I see Miami taking and making more 3's which will help our over and the Thunder's uptempo style will force Miami into a track meet so I'm taking o233 which seems a tad too low tonight.

Went 1-1 tonight because unfortunately Boston faltered down the stretch of the second Quarter and couldn't cover the first half number. They didn't cover the full game number unless you bet them last night and got -6 when it opened so that was an interesting takeaway from this game. I'll take the split on the night as OKC and Miami easily went over the total which is what I thought would happen in a pace up spot for Miami. Onto tomorrow where we have a shorter 5 game slate which is bigger than normal for a Thursday.

New York Knicks -3.5 -114 1.14u to win 1u

First up in the afternoon game today I like Cleveland to cover the 3 points against the Nets in Paris. Defense travels so I think even though Cleveland may be a little tired and not shoot quite as well as normal they will be able to cover here against a struggling Nets team. These teams are headed in opposite directions so I look for Cleveland to cover this short number in Paris today.

Next up I like the Knicks to continue their hot streak on the road in Dallas against a Mavs team that won't have Luka tonight. The Knicks have been a wagon as I've pointed out since acquiring OG Anunoby and I think that continues today because they have been better both offensively and defensively since his arrival. Even though the Mavs are at home and teams do play better without their stars it seems I'm still playing New York because they're hot right now and I'm going to continue to ride that wave.

Utah Jazz -3 -110 1.1u to win 1u

First up I took the Heat to cover against the Magic at home tonight. Both teams are missing key players so the injury report doesn't really favor anyone but I'm taking the Heat because they're better offensively than the Magic and should be able to score against them with some of their better defenders not playing tonight.

Next up I took the suddenly hot Utah Jazz hosting the Toronto Raptors tonight. The Jazz have won 8 of 10 so backing them at home makes sense here. Also the Raptors are on the last leg of a long road trip so they'll be pretty tired having to play at altitude tonight making me like the Jazz even more. This spot screams Utah so I'm backing them to cover the small number against a middle of the road and tired Toronto team.

Ok we'll take a 2-0 night last night as Miami fortunately got the cover in a close 3 point game against Orlando and Utah blew out Toronto at home to continue their recent hot stretch. We have an 8 game slate today so I'm going to study the slate and try to come up with some more winners.
