Lakers have yet to cover a game so far and even though Lebron injury status is questionable, I think the Lakers will have their first breakout game of the season here. AD should eat down low and think their defense will step up against a spurs team that struggles on the offensive end.

Think the Hawks will have a heightened focus here in their 2nd road game of the year after their first road game ended in an embarrassing loss to the Cavs. Also like fading the Pelicans here off a solid underdog win vs the Wolves. Pelicans are a fairly young undisciplined team who are 2nd to last in the NBA in turnovers. Should lead to easy transition baskets and open jumpers for Atlanta in this one.

Jazz have been starting slow lately but think that changes here as they get a favorable matchup vs a team in the rockets who really struggles on defense. Gobert should do work inside and I expect a lot of open outside shots from the Jazz as well.

Both teams have been struggling to score lately but think we see a faster paced game here. Pelicans have been a great rebounding team and think this will lead to more easy 2nd chances at the rim. Kings have actually scored the ball better on the road through this young season and think they’ll be able to knock down shots tonight.

Nuggets are on a back to back and TWolves have been playing exceptionally well to start the year. The combination of DLo, Anthony Edwards and KAT looks very good so far along with added toughness from Pat Bev, Naz Reid and Malik Beasley. I think KAT will be able to score at will on Jolie or whoever they put on him and Jokic may struggle to score a bit with the size inside that the Wolves present.

Think this is a good spot for the Rockets to catch the Lakers off guard. Rockets are coming off a blowout loss to the Jazz and Lakers coming off a nice 4th quarter comeback vs the Cavs. Rockets should be able to push the pace and if they can knock down shots I really like them to keep this game close throughout. Lakers also showed an ability to blow big leads a few days ago with a huge blown lead to the thunder.

Love the Knicks in this spot vs a Raptors team that struggles to score. Boucher announced out as he has a long term injury and Barnes is doubtful to play as well. Think this leaves Raptors with a real problem on the inside and outs a lot of pressure on Trent and Van Vleet to score.

Kings folded late last week in their first matchup with the Jazz but really think they can keep this one close and within double digits. They’ve played some really close games against tough opponents and I think this is a solid spot here in a revenge type game where they can keep it close.

These 2 just played and we saw a slow 2H that led to the total going under. I don’t think these 2 teams will shoot as poorly as they did in the 2H a few days ago and a close matchup could lead to fouls in the end game situation leading to an excess of points. If both teams can take care of the ball and limit turnovers I think we see a 114-110 type game here.

Embiid should be good to go tonight and even though both of these teams typically play low scoring games, I think Sixers should have a field day inside and think the Pistons will be able to shoot better at home tonight.

Think we’re getting wizards at a solid value here. Grizzlies have been playing very solid defense at home but now they have to travel and play the wizards who have been scuffling a bit. I see this as a very good bounce back spot for the wizards and think they’ll be able to knock down enough shots to win tonight.

Love this spot for the Bulls. Revenge game vs Philly in a game they almost won on the road a few days ago and now they get the rematch at home. Philly is a completely different team away from home and think this game is similar to when they lost by double digits at the Knicks a few weeks ago. I see bulls winning a 112-103 type game.

Love fading the eagles in this spot after a blowout win vs the worst team in the league. Chargers are a very solid football team who have played a much harder schedule to this point. Herbert should be able move the ball at will against this eagles D and Chargers also have a huge coaching advantage in this matchup as well.

Suns in a revenge game against Kings who they lost to last week. Think this is a very solid revenge spot and Suns are playing well after a comeback win against the Hawks a few days ago.

Dayton lost a ton of pieces from their team last year and weren’t good at covering any game let alone a big spread like this. Illinois Chicago returns a big time front court player in Diggins who is very gifted and should be able to keep them in the game. This line has come down a bit since earlier but like it all the way down to +12.

Pistons really struggle to score the ball and Rockets have been playing some tough teams very close lately. Think the Rockets up tempo pace will be too much for the Pistons in this one.

Stacking Arizona state tonight. Really think they have too much athleticism and scoring ability for UC Riverside to keep this one close. See this as like a 78-62 type game.

Southern Illinois is a good team but I don’t have this matchup as a 14 point difference. Austin Peay lost their best player but they’ve retooled with a number of transfers. I have this spread closer to -7/8 so like the value getting 14 in this one with Austin Peay.

Stacking these two overs. Missouri state is an elite offensive team who nearly topped 100 in their season opener and also showed they have major concerns on the defensive end by allowing just under 100 to SEMO as a 17 point favorite. I think Missouri state will be able to score at will and Alabama state has shown a solid ability to score the ball so far against teams like Vandy and western Kentucky. Like this line up to 73 for 1H and 152 for full game.

Hawks have been playing horribly lately on their road trip but they finally get to come back home here where they’ve had a lot of success. I think they’ll be able to play much better at home tonight and come away with the W
