If you’re a man past 30 & you are done having children or don’t want children at all. I have one word for you, vasectomy. I did it 3 seconds after my divorce 6 years ago. One of the best decisions of my life. This decision helps eliminate abortions as a whole. It also will always allow you to have a peace of mind during sex, which helps you in enjoy it more IMO.

as a woman that does not follow a party, this whole thing is very sad and quite angering. this doesn't only take away "abortions", it takes away "safe abortions".

What’s funny to me is all the protests are happening in states that abortion laws will not be changing. I’m a pro choice republican up to a point, I don’t think you should be able to abort a baby that’s say 6 months along, unless the mother is in danger, also rape and incest victims should be able to abort imo

All the Dems are happy this will be a political issue now, however, as the States begin debate on abortion laws, many liberals will finally have to go on the record as to what defines life and at what point in term they're willing to abort.

There are many liberals that'd abortion 9 months, and beyond. That's just plain sick IMHO. And it contradicts Federal statute on homicide (a woman in term beyond 10, murdered, the defendant can be charged w double homicide).

It'll be interesting to see how the States decide on the governance on this, and the social impact it'll have on responsibility & behavioral choices.

I don't think they'll have a choice. It's literally the only issue that Dems can run on going forward.

Politically speaking, the Democrat Party is dead. It had accomplished absolutely nothing despite control of every lawmaking apparatus. It has only acted to impede growth of the economy and as an obstacle to the average family fulfilling its wants & needs.

But here is an issue, that mostly women care about, and an uneducated voter base might actually think that the Constitution has a privacy clause or an abortion section in it (pssst- it doesn't) but they'll rile up their voters with a very appeasing media and run on it. And as is usually the case with Democrat politics, it'll be misinformation for a misguided purpose.

Look- there isn't a city, a State or a branch of Federal Government at this point that Democrats are running successfully. People can see that. You can stick your head in the sand and talk about Trump till you turn blue in the face, but Democrats are ripping apart the fundamentals that made the jurisdictions they govern once great, and the average voter, even the small time progressives, are seeing this.

Abortion (and gay or trabs bullshit) is all the Party has left. It stands for nothing that reflects the values or wants or dreams of 85% of America....it's a party that literally has to pay people to vote for it (welfare)

Well she got the procedure in Indiana I believe.

Remember, even in red States, the abortion pill is still available. It's the procedure that the State laws target, and Federally, it is legal.

The ruling simply corrected the misinterpreted 70s ruling that the 4th ammendment applied to the States right to medical records/ privacy. You do not have Constitutionally protected privacy as it pertains to medical procedures....that was a very broad/ stretch of an interpretation of the ammendment.

OK, that's fair. But liberals want to rip that file open when you go to buy a gun or if someone points a finger at you & claims you're their father or that you raped them 20 years ago.

The Court has held that due process applies to the rape/ DNA tests, so you can be charged; that gun ownership is a right, but subject to medical (behavioral) background checks, etc

So there is no 4th ammendment right, ergo, if the State outlaws the procedure, and you do it anyway, your medical file (and the Doctors records) are evidence of a crime.

It's that simple. There cannot be privacy for a protected class, as THAT is a violation of equal protection.

Take the day after pill, or drive to a State where it's legal...those are the choices.

I'm republican and support 2nd amendment rights but overturning Roe v Wade was not 100% STUPID. There was precedence set numerous times over the last 50 years supporting that ruling. To overturn it now means any future court can overturn any prior ruling... to hell with precedence.

For example, a liberal court in the future may reinterpret the prior rulings on the 2nd amendment and ban all guns and be right in doing so since precdence no longer means nothing. Some will say, they can't do that because.... it clearly stated in the constitution the right to a militia. But, just like the consitution doesn't mention abortion, it also doesn't mention the public's right to carry guns. It states a militia so a court can interpret that however they want and come up with reasoning to ban all guns. Do the republicans who are so happy with the Roe v Wade ruling really want that?

This court has opened a pandoras box. Anything can now be overturned regardless of precedence. This was a huge mistake.
