I don't blame the athletes here, though they should be punished, I blame the boosters and hidden money that is offering deals to players to come to their school.
They're not supposed to be enticed with NIL money during recruiting, that money is for AFTER they sign.

That's an admission to breaking the rules and both the school booster or shady alums who offered a deal prior to enrollment should be punished with NO CONTACT with UNLV Athletics for many years.
The player should be declared ineligble to play college sports FOR LIFE...send a much needed message.
Or, congress needs to step in and legislate this shit for real.
