Good luck bud. Hopefully the hospital doesn't have a DEI program when it comes to surgeons.
Good ole Italian boy from Cleveland doing it.

Awesome Djefferis.Still here - no pain - just tired
If they are giving you morphine, they need to give you something to offset the nausea which I’m surprised they haven’t done. Since you’re not a person who takes painkillers on a normal basis. Glad to hear that you’re doing well and recovering rather fast.Actually pretty amazing how fast things are moving.
Able to sit up in a recliner and did a full lap waking the ICU without stopping and damn near normal walking speed.
It’s tough - the brain thinks everything is normal- but then legs and back laying for 48 hours and got a Christmas tree of IVs (slowly getting rid of those).
Not a lot of pain - only doing Tylenol and some morphine this morning that made me nauseous.
Worst parts - removing the breathing tube and the catheter - neither were pleasant. Kinda one handed at the moment with left swelled where they took a vein from that arm - but yea, feel 1000% better aside from not being able to take deep breaths.
thanks for positive thoughts/prayers and comments. All downhill from here - much love to BMR for keeping my spirits positive throughout this.
