Historically we have divided countries many times for many reasons - most fail. Same reasons that combining countries failed.

It’s pretty simple - our national government exist to legislate “big picture” things only - individual states handle anything not involving a “national” concern - including weapons and licensing. The constitution assures citizens a right to own them - that remains national but licensing is 100% a states decision - so long as it is reasonably obtainable to the ordinary citizen. You can own one subject to local regulation- which cannot place a high burden of responsibility or entry to any citizen wishing to own a weapon.

I did that in a garage once. I cocked the thing back and didn't know how to undo that. Thing sounded like a cannon and rang my ears for hours

Could be because there is metal detectors at most of the PRO sporting events and people know it so they don't carry into the games.

You dont go out of your way to voice your political opinions - you get your ass out there - help where you can and talk to people directly following to make sure they are ok.

You’re a public figure - it comes with perks and it comes with responsibility too. Can’t just enjoy the perks and ignore the responsibilities.

Multiple shooters here - but yea - to hit 20 people you WERE NOT aiming at - that’s a pretty poor shot.

Shoot 16 rounds randomly in a crowd - if you hit 4 people accidentally that would be a high percentage. Figure people are moving quickly once they hear a shot - realize what’s going on around them.

Think how many mass shooters managed in the past - and that’s with rifles and shooting AT people - to hit this many you either had to fire a hell of a lot more rounds - or some people were very very very unlucky.

Likely will - and unlikely to see the outside of a prison before age 40-45.

No way they get treated as juveniles. That’s just what the people handing them guns to do their dirty work tell them - your 15 - you’ll be out in 2 years worst case. Never be tried as an adult - and we will take care of you in juvi and when your out.

Guess what - gangs only keep you around as long as your useful - moment your locked up and can’t help them - your on your own.
