A quick update: I bet through my deposit, have requested a withdrawal and have closed my Fansbet account. I found them impossible to deal with and an absolute shambles (talk about the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing) and I've made my displeasure known to them. I don't know whether they're dodgy or just utterly useless, but if my experience with them is anything to go, they're far more trouble than they're worth. My advice is simple: unless you enjoy having bookmakers raise your blood pressure, stay away from them (and that goes for Redsbet, Redarmybet and all the Viral Interactive sites).

I'll just add that this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an online bookmaker in the last 20 years. I could be wrong, but I can't see them lasting long if this is the best they can do.

Am pleased to say that they have now paid me and I even got a lengthy email from one of their supervisors apologising profusely for the poor customer service I had received and all the inconvenience I had been caused as a result. So it looks, Chris, as if you will get your money, but you might have to chase them up for it. All in all an unpleasant and very time-consuming experience and I'm glad to see the back of them.

Will keep an eye out for them. They'll probably team up with one of the generic platform providers such as FSB, TGP, Kambi or Corbettsports, so it's likely that the offers currently available to their telephone customers won't be available online unfortunately.
