The next newcomer is OPE Sports (www.opesports.co.uk). They are from the VBet/Tempobet stable. They don't appear to offer any horseracing markets and at present there doesn't appear to be a welcome bonus on offer for new customers.

From the same stable there is also www.manbetx.uk and www.marsbet.co.uk
The same comments apply to these two as to OPE Sports.

Anyone have any experience with these books (opesports and manbetx)? Can books licensed in Malta be trusted? I can't find any reviews online about these books.

Generally speaking online bookmakers licensed in Malta are ok, although there are always potential exceptions. The fact that these two sites are both operated by a company (Vivaro) which is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission (admittedly only for UK-based customers) should be seen as a positive sign. That said, I've never used either of them myself, so can't comment in detail. Their odds (same odds and markets for both sites) struck me as a bit below average, but that's not necessarily a bad thing in terms of trustworthiness.

Another UK newcomer:

www.redarmybet.com/en/betting

Offering horse racing. Odds looked around average, but I've seen worse. Decent range of deposit options and wagering requirements attached to their welcome bonus, although not great, weren't as bad as some I've come across recently. Their parent company seems to be a Maltese outfit called Viral (!) Interactive Limited, but that's as much as I know.

On closer inspection it looks as if their odds are the same as those of the TGP-powered sites, although they have their own UKGC licence.

Anyone have any experience with these guys? Payouts no problem?

Thanks a lot for your reply

Have never used any of the Viral Interactive sites so far. They all have the same platform provider (TGP, I think), so their odds and markets will be identical. They share a platform provider with several other newly licensed UK sites - Mansionbet, Karamba, Sportnation, Bethard amongst others

I have been using fansbet.com for the past two months. I have made many successful deposits and withdrawals using Skrill. So far so good. I was also using Mansionbet until they restricted me. Also I am currently using Karamba and can report no problems there either so far.

Opened an account with Fansbet earlier today and made a small deposit to test the water. Have to say I'm not at all impressed by what I've seen so far. I uploaded a copy of my ID and quickly recived an email saying it had been rejected. This has never happened to me before and the email gave no explanation. I contacted them via live chat and was told that they do not accept scans and that I would have to take a photograph of the ID myself and upload it. I asked them why they didn't accept scans, but they wouldn't tell me. I pointed out to them that it would save customers wasting their time sending in scans if Fansbet (and presumably Redsbet and Redarmybet) made it clear on their site that scans are not accepable, but they just ignored that.

Anyway I uploaded a photograph of my ID and contacted them to ask how long it would take them to review it. They said up to 24 hours, although it had only taken them 25 minutes to reject the scan.

Overall really poor so far. Hopefully things will improve, otherwise I think my relationship with them is going to be a very short one.
