You don’t understand he’s down in the rabbit hole as a gambler, and if he can’t get back to his previous all time high it’s not even worth it for him. I’m not saying that is logical thinking, but it’s too late for him to change strategies at this point from his POV.
If that's the case, wouldn't it be better to just go to a Blackjack table right now, and go all in? He'll have a decent cushion after three all-in bets and Dougy will have a 40% of winning each time.

Gambling is an addiction, and this is a textbook example of it. What’s strange and worth mentioning is how readily allow it, and how we even cheer it on. For the most part, we root for him to keep going, blurring the line between entertainment and something that would be deeply concerning in almost any other context.

I’ve been in his exact same position, but I made the decision to cut my losses and keep the majority of my profits & invest that money, in regards to my 2024 betting year. Dougy has lost 90% of where he was so this last 10% means nothing to him. Dougy’s strength as a gambler is his future bets. That’s why he was able to be a professional gambler and not have to work for 2-3 years. So he’s sticking with that strategy.

Actually coming up on 17 months "gainfully" unemployed but this would be the breakdown among books to maximize value for a 400k combined payout. I'd have about 4k left to my name & would have to go job hunting ASAP with the hope this hits & quit working immediately thereafter or it's back to security full-time. The other option is to maintain this 30k roll & be extremely conservative with my bets to WD 1k/month to cover my monthly nut but that seems like a fate worst than death.

* (#s to the left are current Ram/Bills SB odds in each book)

Yeah I kinda do LG. WTF is 10k to 15k gonna accomplish if it hits knowing I'd have to wait 40 days until it's decided. Dream scenario would be BUF winning the the early CCG & DET at LAR in the late game to guarantee either 400k or 800k but that's
Wish u the best of luck

Can't fukking stand Plaschke. Hated him on Around The Horn back in the day with how much of an LA homer he is. Only thing that makes me nervous about taking the Rams is retard jinx columns like his saying it's inevitable. He even said there was no way they'd lose to the Pats in 2019 with Jared Fukkin Goff

Only way 1 to realistically get it all back & I'm SERIOUSLY considering this. I'll reload 3k & try to win another 3k to get it to 33k to do this. BUFF worries me cuz they might have to win 3 road games cuz I don't see them winning the division even if they win out. NE would have to lose at BALT & home to MIA in wk 18 for that to happen. Can't see them losing at NYJ in wk 18

Just considering it. Nothing pending besides a 💀 Bills/Lions slip
pass on nfl bro, aint worth going all in on that. bills a gutless fuckkin team. that defense aint gona win anything.
think u should stick to just chilling til tennis. build up a bit then do some classic futures parlays aussie open.
30k is still a decent amt. at least your not at 0 which u wouldve been if u stuck with nfl sunday

I am curious am I the only one on this forum that would like to see Doug put the 30k away somewhere , don’t touch it, act like it doesn’t exist and go get a job? Possibly even go to some gambling anonymous classes? Maybe try to better himself.

I gotta say I hate how the narrative has come to form “I told you so” from the BMR posters, but this day has arrived. Dougy has one more swing in him to make his account whole again.

This is what I root for, because I know Goddamn well whatever you may tell him at this point in time it’s a fuckin’ waste of time for both parties. It’s crunch time for our dear Dougy & I believe he can pull this out with his last big future bet.
