It’s unreal if he didn’t cash out it would be 0 balance. I said it before and I know I am in the minority but humanity and the care for others needs to be addressed. He said 30+k now. That is more than most people have saved up. He should put that money away and go back to work. I really worry about him , he has already referenced suicide a few times in the past. I wish nothing but the best for him and others here. But what I said had to be said, regardless if anyone agrees or not. If he loses it all , he will be back to work with 0x, 30k is a lot of money and would give him a safety net for unexpected things that come up in life.

Whatever the peak was , I think around 400k correct? It was cold hard cash. That is more $ than most people will ever see in their lifetime. It’s rough to see this.

I suggested come to a town like mine, one of the best in the state, and buy a 3 bedroom, 2 bath garden-home type house like mine for $280-300k, invest $100-120k, and do a couple of side hustles you enjoy to cover your monthly nut. Dozens of similar towns across the country where this is possible too

I always told myself with 400k he could own a home outright the rest of his life and still have more $ than most. I haven’t been watching any games or following anything. I don't think you realistically have a chance to make this happen, unless you're grinding. What's the point of trying to hit a 450 yard home run if you strike out 80 times before even hitting a double? You gotta include the cost of living into your calculation. Didn't you say you're never going back to work?

Double up your 30k to 50-60k, put a half aside and do what you did to build it up in the first place. Wait, you don't have your 'good fan duel account' any more? Find someone to partner with. Forget you had 300k already, think about winning the next game. You have to be obsessed to have a shot.
