2-1 day as Central Michigan covers late and Winnipeg covers the puck line but BYU and Central Arkansas don't get over the total. I'm not sure what the team total for BYU was but that may have been a better look since BYU did their part scoring wise but Central Arkansas only managed 50 so I lost. Back at it Wednesday with the NBA back in action as well as some more MACtion and college hoops so I'll try and find some more winners.

All right i have five plays today and they all come on the hardwood. I'm picking on the Magic again this time with the Pacers. The Magic beat them last time but Paolo Banchero was in the lineup and dropped 50. He's obviously out of the lineup for a while and the Magic offense is attrocious without him. I like the Pacers to run them out of the gym in Indiana and cover the 5 points.

In the marquee matchup of the day in the NBA I like Golden State plus the points against the Celtics. The Celtics are without Jaylen Brown and I think that's a big deal in this one especially since Steph Curry will play for the Warriors. I expect a competitive game and 6.5 points is too rich I think so I took the points.

My last play in the NBA is on the Lakers ML. This game against Memphis should be a close one but I think the Lakers bounce back after a head scratching loss to Detroit on Monday. Memphis is improved this year but I'm not sure they can beat this Lakers team especially with the Lakers coming off a loss. I expect the Lakers to play a more focused game and pull off the win on the road.

In college I took a shot with Campbell against Virginia. I'm fading Virginia here because I really think their coach retiring abruptly before the season will affect them this year. I don't think Campbell is very good but I do think they can at least stay within 17 points so I took the points.

My last play is on the under in the Auburn game. The reason behind this play is Vermont likes to play extremely slow and take the shot clock down every possession. Also I think Auburn will be very good defensively this season which will help this one stay under the total.

I absolutely hate that the Lakers ruled out Anthony Davis an hour before tip. I wouldn’t have made that play had I known he would sit this one out. He even participated in morning shoot around and was said to be moving around fine. I love the guy because he won my Kentucky Wildcats a championship but he’s soft and seemingly always hurt.

Well I go 4-1 and the one loser was of course the LA Lakers. This is why NBA is so tough to bet until you have all the pertinent info but it usually doesn't come out until later in the day so you almost have to wait until game time to make your bets and I just can't do that because I work nights. At least the Warriors won outright and Indiana hung on as well getting the cover against a banged up Orlando that played better tonight but still lost without Paolo.

Almost a swept, but great winning, Jr.

I saw a video of Lebron and Ja hating each other last night, lol. Lebron did a lot of points, though still not enough.

I have to believe there are people in that organization who "sell" this type of information to syndicates before it is announced to the public. It's too leveraging and too easy for insiders to make money on it.

There should be some kind of cut-off like 6 hours before tip on these announcements. Something to make it fair for Joe Public to be able to make a bet.

They don't care about gambling even though the NBA is partnered with some of the sportsbooks like Fanduel and Draftkings. This was a game that the Lakers basically punted by resting two starters. It was the last game of a road trip so I'm sure they felt like it was better to make sure Davis didn't risk getting even more injured. He could have played but a November game is meaningless in an 82 game season so they basically rested him and used the ankle as an excuse to sit him out.

They could have announced it in the morning and not wait until 1 hour before gametime.

NFL
Baltimore/Cincinnati o52.5 -108 1.08u to win 1u

NCAAB
Montana State/Wisconsin u145 -109 1.09u to win 1u

NBA
Portland Trailblazers +4 -107 1.07u to win 1u

I have three plays tonight on a smaller Thursday slate. First up in the NFL I like Baltimore and Cincinnati to play another shootout. I don't think either defense is very strong and both offenses are absolutely rolling right now so I took the over. I wanted to take Joe Burrow o1.5 touchdown passes because I think he has a big game here but that prop is ridiculously juiced at -190 so I didn't play it. This might be the best Thursday Night football game we get all year because both teams should light up the scoreboard so o52.5 points for me.

In college hoops tonight I took the Under 145 in the Wisconsin game. This is strictly a play made because of how slow Wisconsin plays. They will grind out a win here against an offensively challenged Montana State team so I took the under here.

My last play is in the NBA and it's on the Portland Trailblazers. This is a tough spot for the Spurs tonight as they played in Houston last night and they now come back home to face a rested Portland team. While this is Portland's third straight road contest they've had two days off so they have the rest advantage and not only is this a back to back for the Spurs it's their third game in four nights. I think the Trailblazers are live to win here but I took the 4 points to give me a little cushion.

1-2 day with my Thursday night football play easily cashing in a game that didn't disappoint between the Bengals and Ravens. Unfortunately my Wisconsin under creeped over the total and Portland got blown out by San Antonio. We'll see what I come up with tomorrow on a massive Friday slate with plenty of sports in action.

11/8/24
Iowa/UCLA o44.5 -108 1.08u to win 1u

11/9/24
Alabama -2.5 -114 1.14u to win 1u
Iowa State -3 -108 1.08u to win 1u
Army -4 -110 1.1u to win 1u

Thought I'd throw my college football plays for the week out there now since I just placed my bets. I like the over in the Iowa/UCLA game Friday. Iowa is a vastly different team this year as far as offense is concerned. They have averaged 45 points a game their last three games and have gone over the total in 8 out of 9 games which is hard to ignore at this point. On the other side of the ball UCLA has also been humming on offense so I think they'll contribute to this total despite Iowa's stoudt defense so I think 44.5 is low and went over here.

On Saturday I like Bama to win and cover against LSU. This is a tough spot since the game is in Death Valley at night where LSU is traditionally tough to play against but I think with extra time to prepare the Tide will be ready for this game and take care of business on the road. This one is huge because whoever loses is essentially out of the playoff picture so I think that added motivation will help Bama beat LSU in their annual rivalry game.

I took Iowa State here because I just think they're better than Kansas who has been bad this season. ISU is coming off a loss and they've done well in these spots coming off a loss both ATS and SU under Matt Campbell so I'm backing them here on the road against KU.

Lastly I went with Army to cover the spread against North Texas. Army keeps rolling along even without their starting QB and I think their running game will be enough to get the win here and cover against North Texas.

Love all 3 Saturday plays. Nice line on Army. I'm in at -5. I'm guessing people still believe their run game is diminished with Daily out. I don't think it slows them down.

NCAAB
North Carolina/Kansas o160 -109 1.09u to win 1u
Fresno State -6.5 -110 1.1u to win 1u

NBA
Boston Celtics 1H TT o60.5 -115 1.15u to win 1u
Stephen Curry o24.5 points -143 1.43u to win 1u
Miami/Denver o221.5 -105 1.05u to win 1u

Five plays for me today on a nice slate of games in college and NBA. First up I like Kansas and North Carolina to go over the total in their massive showdown Friday night. This is a matchup where there are a lot of good players on the floor and talented scorers so I think even though this is a lofty total there will be plenty of points in this game so I went over the total in a game I think will be fairly competitive at the Phog tonight.

My other play is on Fresno State to cover the spread tonight. They have a really good offense so I think they'll be able to run Sacramento State out of the gym and cover tonight a number that I think is a little low relative to the strength of these two teams.

In the NBA I like Boston to once again go over their first half team total against the Nets. Boston is typically a wagon at home especially against bad teams. I think they come out strong here because they are coming off a loss so I expect them to have more than 60 points at halftime in a game I don't anticipate being very close.

Next up I took Stephen Curry's over points prop tonight against the Cavs. The Warriors may be without Draymond and Brandin Podziemski both questionable so Steph may be called upon to do a lot more tonight just to keep Golden State in the game against a Cavs team who has been the best team in the NBA so far. Steph typically plays well against the Cavs too so I think he can score at least 25 points here despite going against a good Cavs defense.

My last play is on the Denver/Miami over 221.5. I believe Denver can dictate the tempo and pace of this game especially playing at home and Miami will be more than willing to try to keep up with them. I haven't liked what I've seen from Denver's defense this year so I think this game will get up and over the total because when you combine a fast pace with minimal defense being played the total going over comes into play so that's why I took it.

3-3 day today including both my college hoops plays cashing and my Denver total easily cashing. Unfortunately UCLA had a great game plan for Iowa and ran it down their throats contributing to the game staying under 44.5 so my college football weekend gets off to a bad start. Hopefully we come through Saturday with my three pending college football plays.
