NFL Week 1:
Baltimore/Kansas City 1H u23.5 -113 1.13u to win 1u
2 team 6 point teaser (Baltimore +9, Cincinnati -2.5) -110 1.1u to win 1u
Pittsburgh Steelers +3.5 -118 1.18u to win 1u
Las Vegas/LA Chargers u40.5 -110 1.1u to win 1u
Ok so I made 4 plays in NFL so far but if I see something I like later I'll be sure to post them in a different post. I have two plays essentially on tomorrow's big game between Baltimore and KC. I decided I like Baltimore tomorrow but I just took them as the first leg of my 6 point teaser that I combined with Cincinnati who I think should win their matchup fairly easily against New England who is rebuilding.
I like that Baltimore added Derrick Henry this season I think he was something that they've been missing in that backfield. I expect them to employ a run heavy attack which oddly enough was something they didn't do in the AFC championship game last season. Due to this I expect a close game which is why I like Baltimore to at least cover and maybe even outright win against a Chiefs team that may be a little fatigued from having made that Super Bowl run last year. That's also why I expect a lower scoring first half in this game because I expect Baltimore to run the football a lot and grind the clock and then on the other side I think they will make KC work for points on longer drives because I still expect Baltimore's defense to be good this year under Harbaugh so 1H under 23.5 might be a sharp look because I don't see too many touchdowns in the first half of the game.
My first of two plays on Sundays's games is on the Pittsburgh Steelers +3.5. I think in this game that I don't know what to expect from Atlanta. Kirk Cousins is banged up and old so I think Pittsburgh can cause havok on him defensively. The Steelers might struggle on offense in this game but I do think they will be able to run the football. Perhaps you play under in this one but I took the +3.5 because it was available on Heritage and I think the Steelers will at least keep this one close in a field goal type game.
My last play is on the Raiders and Chargers staying under 40.5. I don't like the Raiders offense this year because they may have picked the wrong starting QB. Gardner Minshew looked poor in preseason but the Raiders went for him because they paid him a lot of money. Whether he's able to right his wrongs that we saw in preseason remains to be seen in this one. On the other side Jim Harbaugh is back in the NFL and we can expect him to try to grind the clock and rely on his defense to win this game. I think this being a divisional game both teams are very familiar with their opponent so we see a lot of conservative play on offense and aggressive play on defense so under 40.5 is the play for me.
