We see higher prices, but the benefit is more manufacturing jobs, protection of critical industries, job growth, investment in the US.

THERE IS NO DOWNSIDE.
I get that, but like who fuckkin cares. More jobs? I have a job, everyone I know has a job. I could care less about the broke dude in Iowa who is looking for a manufacturing job.

Do I care more about inflation and the stock market, or having more jobs in America. We already had pretty low unemployment the last few years.

And to be honest, manufacturing jobs just aren't giong to come back here. Minimum wage in the cheapest states is around $8. Even with tarriffs, these companies will still be in cheap Asian and South American countires where you can pay around $3.

Spin it how you want, but saying more jobs is better for me is the corniest shit ever.

The benefit to you will be lower taxes and possibly even eliminating the federal income tax and the abolishing of the IRS.

You might not care about more jobs, but the people who can't get one sure do.

Philadelphia used to be the biggest textiles producer in the United States. Today there is almost nothing.

That's thanks to these bad trade deals that Trump now has to counter.

We're $36 trillion in debt.

Do you want to fix it or keep going the way we were?

We were at 4% unemployment rate when Trump took office, historically that’s about as low as you can get. So once again, I don’t care about having more jobs here. The only people who don’t have jobs are lazy.

Back then America was more alone, of course Philly had textile factories and Detroit made cars. It’s a different world now, it’s a global market. Like I said, if you think jobs are coming back to America you are just dumb. Still cheaper to pay someone in Vietnam $3 with high tariffs than $8 an hour in America. Textile factories ain’t coming back to Philly bro, much cheaper to make in Asia and South America. There are also easy loopholes around the tariffs, even when China got hit with the high tariffs during his first term they were just sending goods to Vietnam and they were then sending them to America. The same will happen.

I don’t care about the IRS. TBH I haven’t even looked at my vanguard account but I bet you I’m down close to 75k just from this market crash.

Everyone losing money right now is basically a fact. Most everything you are stating is wishful thinking.
