There are foreigners living and traveling al over here, it is one of the most popular destinations in the world now. Most places people are used to foreigners and the behavior they see. I do go to some obscure places, they are kind of stand offish until I make conversation with them in Vietnamese and then they are so happy and can't believe a foreigner can speak to them. I am them welcomed with open arms, I have been in random peoples houses for dinner, when traveling, etc etc, Viet are the nicest people I have ever met. Very nice and welcoming.Over the years I have had many take pictures with me, when I was in obscure places but not here in Ha Noi, there are foreigners living all over here.
