I dove into the deep dark bowels of each country as well as the nicest places. I will say the most fun I have ever had in my life as far as nightlife and getting into some mischief is in Timor-Leste and Brunei. @BMR Genie no offense on #11

I agree. There are so many other parts of Thailand besides Bangkok. You got the southern part with the gorgeous beaches and then the northern part of Chiang Mai/Rai in the landscape of countryside

I didn't say I didn't like it, it is just at the bottom of my list. This is just my list and my experience. I do like the Philippines , I go there, It is just at the bottom for me is all. I still go to Thailand, even though, It is towards the bottom. You will meet people that will have Vietnam at the bottom of their list, so it is a personal preference. I find Vietnamese people the most friendly but once again, you will talk to people that will tell you , they will never come back to Vietnam again, so everyone is different. Timor-Leste is slowly becoming my 3rd on the list, it will never surpass Cambodia and Vietnam but very close. Philippines has very nice people and beaches, I go there 2-3x a year, one of my best friends lives there with his wife.
