Predestination:
1. (as a doctrine in Christian theology) the divine foreordaining of all that will happen, especially with regard to the salvation of some and not others. It has been particularly associated with the teachings of St. Augustine of Hippo and of Calvin.
2. If God made everything before it existed, including time, space, and matter, then He knew everything from start to finish well before it ever happened. This brings up interesting questions and possibilities.
3. If He saw everything that was to happen, then He knew and saw the Rebellion of Satan, the rise of Man, the Fall of Adam, the creation of Hell, etc.
4. This would mean that everything that has happened up to this point, was in fact, predetermined. It also would mean there is no such thing as free will.
5. If there isn't any such thing as free will, then why are humans and angels eternally punished in Hell?
6. It means that everything, every action in our lives, that led us to this point WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN EXACTLY AS IT DID.
7. IF this is the case, what is the point of living?
