Honestly once was enough. Flight into San Jose has terrible turbulence. And probably almost died 8 times in route to Arenal . Pot holes the size of ponds. Amongst other obstacles

Beautiful place though

If I was Single I would prob go back .

What is Seaborneq?

I loved that place. Visited the hot springs too. I was there February 2nd of 2006 and stayed at the Tabacon Resort. Here is a webpage that shows how active the mountain was during that night.

I saw molten bolders being thrown out the top that were the size of a vehicle.

We couldn't see anything from volcano,it was cloudy that night . Literally stood in some field pitch black out.

You can't see how much meat they gave me because of the lettuce.

Next time I'll be sure to remove the lettuce before taking a picture.

damn T if its between CR and Australia, i'd say go to Australia first. but i've never been, i'm dying to go though

Have never been to Australia , Have you been to Punta Cana , Playa Del Carmen , Jamaica ?

What type trip are you looking for. ? We love the beach and tropical destinations.

She doesn't want to go to Australia due to the flight time involved and I think she has an ulterior motive (see next comment).

Beach would be great but I think she wants to visit Arenal or Central Valley. I'm pretty sure she wants to look for place to live in retirement with ex-pats.

My problem also is flight times. 5 hours is max for me

Costa Rica is great! Arenal is fun if you don't get a cloudy night.

There are also waterfalls and ziplines and lush vegetation.

As far as beaches go, I went to Manuel San Antonio beach on the Pacific and stayed at La Mariposa Hotel. Nice relaxing beach there but it's the Pacific so waters will be cold. If you want warm water beaches, the Caribbean coast (east) would be better.
