I have a place I go to that's less than a mile from where I live. Their quesadillas are so fluffy too. I saw a torta on their menu board that I have to try next time I'm there.

I see Tortas all the time and Mexican restaurants out here but I'm always hesitant about getting a sandwich at a Mexican place

I don't know. It's kind of the equivalent of going to an Italian restaurant and ordering a hamburger. Or going to a steakhouse and ordering chicken. You get what they are known for. If I wanted a sandwich I would go to Subway or Jimmy John's

A torta is an integral part of the Mexican culinary experience. It's not Mexican food made to look like American food. Mexican food isn't all rice and beans and tortillas.

I loved that place. Visited the hot springs too. I was there February 2nd of 2006 and stayed at the Tabacon Resort. Here is a webpage that shows how active the mountain was during that night.

I saw molten bolders being thrown out the top that were the size of a vehicle.

I ask because the wife wants to travel there.

I'd ask Genie but she's kind of biased since she lives there.
