Yes , that one was a bit humorous.

I think he's a very knowledgeable sports enthusiast, like a lot of people on these sites. I see him along the lines of Robert Dinero in the movie " King of Comedy ".......... I'd rather be King for a day then Schmuck for a lifetime ". He posts several bold plays , usually at big odds , and broadcasts the few winners to give the impression that he is crushing the books.

He does come across as a “know it all” which I don’t really like in general. He’s definitely not humble about his sports betting, but like I said the times I’ve paid attention to his picks he seems to win more than he loses.

With all due respect , there is a good reason why he no longer keeps track of his posted wagers. You can find several threads , regardless of sport , that were abandoned the moment the losses were out of control. I also do not buy his $5,000 or $10,000 fake tickets that he posts when questioned. I am definitely not alone in this thinking.

Franz, with all due respect, what about your losses? You know soccer as much as anyone and yes, you have your moments... and you're very transparent with your betting but in my opinion, you lose as much as any bettor, if not more. In fact, most of the time, when I randomly grade your bets, you're losing.

Laker's appeal as a bettor I follow is in his contrarianism. It seems to me that he knows what the bookies are doing with their head fakes and odds they put up and he bets the other side. This doesn't have to do with sports knowledge, soccer knowledge, math....it's just a feeling you have after years of betting and I'm not sure I've met a guy who does it in big-time games more than Laker.

Dont get me wrong, you probably win more than I do Franz but it's a bit out of line to throw shade at Laker when in my years of following you, you're not god's gift to sports betting (as I think you consider yourself to be)

Whether I have losing seasons or winning seasons ( You yourself once commented on this site how you recalled my many winning seasons on Covers ), a record speaks for you. His posts are in my Thread across the street , due diligence will verify what I stated earlier. ( his record in that thread is 0 - 5 )

P.S. When you open a statement with " all due respect " and then choose to disrespect that person , you should at least be direct and honest about it. I certainly understood the hate you were portraying , no need to feign your intent.

FWIW I'm a math guy. Been doing this for years now and it's been a successful approach. I bet on many games I know nothing about, just because I am getting a good number. I'll bet on Egyptian soccer if the price is right.
