Submitted a BMR complaint regarding Betsson.

They cancelled my withdraw and then proceeded to withhold ALL of my winnings >$1000. They are saying I voided 12.1 of their ToC, which I never did, and they refuse to elaborate.

"12.1 Any Bonus is only available once per person, family, household, address, e-mail address, credit card number, bank account, telephone number, computer/device and / or IP address."

First time I have been scammed by a sportsbook. Never thought it would be these guys.

Hey everyone, looking for some advice here because I’m at my breaking point.

I’ve had a Bovada account for about a year with no major issues. Over the last month, I really started putting solid action through the account — over $20,000 in deposits during that time.

At first, I was actually up a few thousand. Shortly after that, all of my betting limits were suddenly slashed to around $100 per wager, which was frustrating but whatever — I kept playing.

I eventually requested a withdrawal. That’s when the problems started.

Bovada asked for full verification:

  • Government ID
  • Selfie
  • Utility bill

I sent everything immediately, same day. I was told on chat to wait 24–48 hours.

Fast forward to now — it’s approaching two weeks, and nothing has moved. Every time I contact support, I get the same copy-and-paste response: “Please wait while the relevant team reviews your case and gets back to you.” No timeline, no explanation, no actual update. Support agents clearly have no power and just repeat templates.

At this point, nothing is progressing and I’m just stuck waiting while my money is locked up. It’s especially frustrating because they had no issue taking deposits, but the moment I asked for a withdrawal everything stalled.

I’m honestly pretty pissed off at this point and starting to lose confidence that this will be resolved easily.

So I’m asking:

  • Has anyone dealt with this with Bovada and actually gotten paid?
  • Is there a specific escalation path that works?
  • Any advice on how to push this forward or get my money out?

Appreciate any help or insight. Thanks in advance.

It has been few years since Bovada started to stiff players and play tricks. There is no way around it , just hope for mercy. If they feel like paying you they will but otherwise, Im sorry brother. You should have researched current sportsbooks reputation before depositing. Bovada is rated A in many websites but thats because they pay them. They went sour long time ago. Hope you get your money tho GL
