Speaking of soccer honestly about 10 years ago I believed the talent level would increase here in the states with the rise & increase of Latinos I’ve seen playing in high school

Yeah, it sure seemed like professional soccer was poised to take off.

It's a little weird considering soccer is played by the youth everywhere. We even have the cliche of a "soccer mom" in a country that doesn't even really watch soccer.

That alone is odd. It's like soccer is just for the kids and they grow out of it.

On the other hand seems like we’re dragging our feet on medical technology or simply don’t want to cure some things

This post brought me back to my brother working at IBM in the 70's and his describing using huge computer that took up a whole room. It had to be air conditioned of course and they used the punch cards to run programs. I thought that was so cool at that time lol.
