As far as the viewership and ratings decline in the US, some of that can be attributed to streaming services, like League Pass.
Silver thinks things will get better as the method of viewing starts to consolidate.
Overall NBA is doing well and the global interest is a big part of that.
I think Stephen A is saying "fuk the global interest, none of that matters if US audience aren't interested. But he's saying that from a US perspective. So he's saying it doesn't matter to US audiences what global growth and success comes.
He's not really saying much though. I think we can all agree that the US audience probably will never really care what other countries think about the NBA, lol.
