there is something to be said about hard schedules and the extra conference title game, look at indiana played an absolute joke of a schedule and will get in because the sec beat themselves up
Indiana needed that humble pie. They know they are the weakest team in the playoff field. They will try to beat Purdue by 50+ and not think anything of it.

I don’t think Indiana is very good

But the reality is they deserve to get in to the 12-team playoff in this particular season

By default

Can’t reward teams like Ole Miss and Alabama

If you let a 3 loss SEC team in then let every conference have a 3 loss team in. The SEC doesn’t deserve more teams in the field because of their past. It should be based on this season only. Alabama can’t get in before 2 loss Tennessee because of head to head and more losses. No one else deserves consideration with 3 losses.

Georgia or Clemson I would consider putting in with 3 losses.

I believe none

But if Georgia lost the SEC title game most likely they’d get in

SEC bias is always gonna exists

Seriously though - example this year why 12 teams too many in a playoff

So much parity. There will be some teams just above average in the postseason

Plus risk of an injury to a key player or two is high because of extra games. Injuries always a risk but even more so now
