I hate to impose but if my wife and I visit, will you show us around? I'd buy dinner and drinks.

My wife is a Northerner (midwest) and loves cold weather.... go figure. The closest friends/family are in Colorado which isn't quite the same.
For sure. Always down to show people around. Seattle is great, I'd highly recommend coming in the summer when the weather is nicer, but if your wife likes the cold weather she can come anytime.

@flyingillini you ever see snow while living in the Bay?

On the Peninsula looking across to East Bay wrapping up a workout. So rare to see here

that does sound nice and is honestly one of my main issues about florida, too many people stacked up. and theyre building even more condos/towers! going to be impossible to drive around certain areas of soflo
West coast is growing. Ive been looking outside Tampa. There are houses that were 200k 5 yrs ago and are for sale now for 450k.

south florida is too saturated

In America hands down it is California, no other state even comes close. Sure you will get different peoples opinions. But California is its own place, own style own rules, own everything.
Outside of America hands down Vietnam, here is my list of my top 5

1. Hanoi, Vietnam
2. Santa Barbara, California
3 Phnom Penh ,Cambodia
4. Taipei , Taiwan
5. Shenzhen , China
My list hasn't changed.

You ask 10 people this question and you will get 10 different answers but for me I'm happy where I'm at currently. If it were up to me I would love to live in Florida. They have great weather, lots of activities and I think it would be a great place for Uber and Lyft with all the theme parks, convention centers, cruise ports etc....

Speaking of which, everyone here knows I love to cruise and I would be more accessible to be able to do that living down there as well

California USED to be - not anymore…..
Not in my opinion. I am from there, it shaped me who I am. I have been all over America and there is no place like Southern California. 805 to be exact. I would never live there again but for some reason if I was forced to live in America again, that is where it would be. @gauchojake
