the damn government could stop school shootings tomorrow, but they are to cheap, you can’t go to a courthouse without going through metal detectors so why not put that in place at all schools, or at least just have guarded entrances at all times

Well l think we can learn from Japan? To buy and own a gun you must go through a rigorous gun training class snd get certified. Don’t know Japan’s specifics but thinking a passport type thing you buy a gun your responsibility is that gun. Now this isn’t a quick fix as current gun owners will be grandfathered in but if you want to buy a new gun you must get certified and the passport. If a current gun owner wants to sell their gun the government will buy from them over face value. Like l said no quick fix but our children’s children will be safer. No more buying your kids guns for their 18th birthday till they get certified. Also these classes will do rigorous background checks. Don’t see why the NRA would object these animals are giving guns a bad name. Australia got rid of assault rifles but that’s a pipe dream for us.

Like to add about responsibility my buddy retired SFPD has numerous guns and has one of those tall Well Fargo safes. Has two boys college age and he took them to shooting ranges and so forth. Teaching them responsible gun ownership maybe these classes could be attended with your kids a family affair. Parents of these shooters suck and should be held in some kind of responsibility the bastards

I can't forsee any future in which today's version of Liberals pull themselves back towards the center for the common cause.

The entire ideology behind defending people like Romas is the blatantly false premise that we are 'all equal'..

We are born equal, for sure. But the culture, lifestyle, choices and behavioral patterns and value associated w education amongst the different demographics has provided us w 3 generations of proof that we are most definable not equal.
