It's not free anywhere
Taxes are high as hell in places with "free healthcare"
The amount we pay in premiums, deductibles, and copays in America is MORE than the taxes other countries pay for healthcare.

Also, the US is subsidizing other countries with our healthcare costs. How? We pay high prices to cover innovative and new drugs and techniques. The other countries reap the rewards since they get the same medical care as we do but have reasonable prices set by the governments to assure companies are not scalping their patients/clients. In the US the insurance companies negotiate the prices and get kickbacks to assure they stay high so that shareholders are paid off.
  • In US --> Medical care is for generating money for companies and shareholds.
  • In Canada/Europe --> Medical are is for looking out for people's health.
The funny thing is, I'm a deep red republican and even I realize this.

I haven't been to the range in years.
Is it an ammo shortage, inflation, or what CapPig?
There is no ammunition shortage right now, the problem with 5.56 is that it’s mostly manufactured by Lake City Ammunition, which is subsidized by the US government and makes all the military rounds. And Fing Biden decided that they shouldn’t be selling to the civilian market last year, so the other small manufacturers jacked up their prices in the civilian market

Wow. Is this ammo being sent to Ukraine?
Is that why Biden stopped it (I didn't know he had the power to do that)? Will that change with a change in president?

I doubt it’s going to Ukraine they would be using 7.62x39 over there, it’s that the US government literally owns Lake City Ammunition, and has since 1941. Plus this headline by The NY Times last year didn’t help

Army Ammunition Factory Tied to Mass Shootings Faces New Scrutiny

Lawmakers want to know if taxpayers are subsidizing rounds used in AR-15-style guns that are “contributing to serious violence by private citizens.”

I guess I never realized there was non serious violence, but our idiots in DC always know what’s best for us

Easy... Healthcare.

I see how "good" Canada and Europeans have it and think, we should too. The US is the only developed country that allows people to go bankrupt and become homeless due to healthcare bills. That is messed up.
Has anyone already mentioned Education? Education should also be free.

My short answer is “LOVE” should be free, but often times it comes with a price tag and an expiration date. That’s the kind of disgusting shitty world we live in today, real talk.
