We grew up collecting these cards, these are all great players that share 1 thing in common.
none are in hofNo clue
i agree. as a kid, he seemed larger than life.Just looked at Hershiser career stats
Hard to believe he really only had five very good years.
I remember him being more dominant than that
I think it's pretty clear Orel blew his arm out in '88 w that streakn& post season run.i agree. as a kid, he seemed larger than life.
sad that bonds, clemens and rose are not in (yet).
Sneaky smart answer here by kid, not something you could really google either.none are in hof
same. my dad bought a lot of these rookies as we collected. he thought he had my future house payment covered. amazing how so many of these late 80's early 90's guys just didn't do enough or had roids. any roids back then were never even thought of.I was 12 and when I had these and I'd have bet every dollar I earned there were 5 HOF cards, if not more, in there.
The thing is James. Most of us were in school during his incredible 1988 seasoni agree. as a kid, he seemed larger than life.

No doubtI'd have bet every dollar I earned there were 5 HOF cards, if not more, in there.
I bought my nephew a bunch of rookie cards in the early 90s. Sammy Sosa was one of them. I thought if he held on to it for a couple decades he would have some decent cash.same. my dad bought a lot of these rookies as we collected. he thought he had my future house payment covered. amazing how so many of these late 80's early 90's guys just didn't do enough or had roids. any roids back then were never even thought of.
