Why is that?

I've been to Phuket a few times but never Pattaya. Phuket has a Walking Street (Soi Bangla). I have a friend in Pattaya who always wants me to visit him. Covid really shut down a lot of the bars there.
Both have the same action as far as girls. But for beaches , food and nightlife there is no comparison. Phuket by a mile. It’s much nicer. The dirtiest of the “sexpats” are in Pattaya then they venture down to Phnom Penh for those who can handle a little danger.

I like going to vegas but after a week it starts to drag.
I can't imagine spending a month, let alone a whole year out there.

Wouldn't you get burned out just gambling and having fun? I'd have to get a job to break up the monotony.
4-5 nights in Vegas feels like a month or more at home or anywhere else. I’m always so ready to go home.

Three nights perfect trip length for Vegas

Moving out of America is not for everyone. I can tell you that the foreigners I have met in my journey all feel the same way. They wish they did it sooner. I am a proud American and very fortunate to be where I am from but there is a whole other world out there. My only regret is I didn't do it sooner. I would fall into a deep depression if I "had" to move back to America and live that lifestyle again. I highly encourage getting out there in the world and seeing what else is out there, you only live once!
