You have a population who has literally lived in extreme poverty for over a century - do you think a few years of hardship will make them grow war weary ?

Europe on the other hand has nothing to gain - best base what - they obtain control of a small sliver of land only to lose it back in a few years when the inevitable civil war breaks out?

Russia can further manipulate oil and gas prices by dragging this war on - befriending the Arabs in the process and keeping countries like China in check. There’s a reason China is going to 100% EVs for the population.

Russian hasn't been able to beat a country that had almost no military (130K troops the day Russian invaded) vs Russia 1M troops yet, here we are over 2 years in and Ukraine still stands. The advanced equipment the West has vs Russia's aging technology has made the difference.

If a country with a few hundred thousand troops can stand up to Russia, I'm thinking NATO with millions of troops and much better equipment won't have a problem.

NATO enters the fray - they will basically be fighting immediately next to Russian controlled territory.

Even outmanned - Russia has a much easier time supplying their troops.

Ukraine has held Russia back for 2 reasons - first the Ukrainian citizens have been preparing for this invasion for a decade - while “outmanned” they have a large reserve trained and ready to go. Secondly - Russia was sending in a bunch of unmotivated, and under trained troops along with mercenaries and prisoners who had no real interest in doing anything aside from not becoming a casualty.

No one believes Ukraine could invade Russia - including Ukraine. Now lot NATO jump in and the average Russian citizen sees this war a lot differently and they start taking an interest in supporting the war effort.

Russia didn't want to take over the whole of Ukraine when the war began. The objective was to take back Crimea and the surrounding areas.

Russia hasn't gone all out. Instead they held back and played it cautiously.

Russia could take over Ukraine within a week if it really wanted to.

Russia vs Europe would end very badly for Europe.

The french are a bunch of faggots. The Germans would fight but they're outnumbered on their own.

Italy has a pretty strong military but would also be outnumbered by Russia on their own.

England? not so great military currently. Still very good Navy but ground forces are a huge question.

Without the USA, Europe would be truly fukked.

There's nothing that Russia has that Europe doesn't. I remember reading that in some places in Ukraine, Russia is using Soviet-era equipment. If the Ruskies can't beat Ukraine easily, they have no chance against Europe.
