In many larger restaurants they have a checkout device at the table. Your card never leaves your hand.Imagine having no idea and then tipping her after she returned your card & receipt
Fortunately more & more restaurants have options to pay at the table
You are correct and that is some BS. I always click the "other" and enter a $ amount.I rarely see 15% option anymore when paying with a card
It usually starts with 20% and goes up to 30% minimum option
how dumb do you have to be?Imagine having no idea and then tipping her after she returned your card & receipt

That reminds me also that a lot of places are now charging you a 3% adder to use a credit OR debit card. Basically its a way they are raising prices without changing the menu price.... saying they are offsetting CC charges.I rarely see 15% option anymore when paying with a card

This just came up at 5 Guys for meI rarely see 15% option anymore when paying with a card

Wow only $3 per hourYou are correct and that is some BS. I always click the "other" and enter a $ amount.
Seems like these places are trying to offset paying their servers a wage by driving it out of tips. Thats some BS.
I read Texas Roadhouse only pays $3/hr and the rest comes from tips. If a server doesn't make enough to get to minimum wage from the $3 + tips then the restaurant will pay the difference up to min wage amount.
Yeah that's BS places like that expecting tipsThis just came up at 5 Guys for me
15, 20, 25, custom lol
Its just a dude at the counter that gives you a sack of burgers and fries.
I'm over it
Custom, 0
Bill was $365Bro you tipped 75 wtf?
They make hundreds in tips, even during the week. I know they have to split it with busboys, cooks, host, etc... but I've never seen that place when it wasn't full and a line waiting.Wow only $3 per hour
Ate at one of the restaurants at Disney Springs this past weekend and got to talking to the waitress
Asked her if it was hard to get a job at the restaurants there and she said yes most ppl don't leave because they make so much
She said they make $10 per hour plus the tips (she got $70 from me)
I think most waitress probably make good moneyThey make hundreds in tips, even during the week. I know they have to split it with busboys, cooks, host, etc... but I've never seen that place when it wasn't full and a line waiting.
