This is why I keep hammering away at the class action suit signups

You are our resident hero and voice of reason here. Not many posters have the knowledge and have the wits about them as you do. God Bless you and we are lucky to have you here. I hope your health improves for 2025.As many of you know - I am a big proponent of funding my hobbies/pastimes (including gambling) with “alternative income streams”.
To me - stupidest thing you can do is WORK for money - only to piss it away. Earned income is for investing - but side projects are for fun. Yea - getting started is rough - you might go weeks/months without significant inflows - but once you get going - it can build quickly. Some things - like new bank checking account/credit card signups are easy - but can bust through those in under 6 months.
Taking those and then starting your “base” - got to carefully start grabbing every positive return you can using bonuses/promos from sportsbooks/racebooks. Again - at first it’s easy - virtually every app is touting “deposit $5 get $200-300 free” and again takes less than a month to hit all the big ones. From there - it’s nabbing every 50% boost offered/money back bets and just scalping your way to a profit.
I also include signing up for class actions in my arsenal - again it’s NOT a fast return. You will be waiting 9 months to possibly several years for checks/payouts as these are lawsuits. You will get plenty of payouts under $10 and some as low as 9 cents (my personal low). But then again - there are days like today. Just saw incoming payment and looked up the suit - the AVERAGE payout is $2900 !!
How much did I get - won’t know until mailman delivers today - but all signs positive on this one with average payout being so high. Good timing too as now I can take advantage of the big bonuses offered by books on a huge gambling weekend. Just another reminder to keep on grinding and never give up. It’s a slow grind at times - but sometimes the payoffs are huge.
And FYI - it sounds stupid - but watch for the class actions that require you to print/mail in forms. It’s much more time consuming than the online forms - but people are lazy and these are the ones who tend to pay well. Just like parimutual pools in racing - there’s a pool of cash and someone takes a cut - dividing the rest to the winners. Less participation- higher payouts.
Interested to see what this one pays - and just another reminder that not all of these are paying a few dollars.
For the average person - signing up is a 3 minute process tops. Sign up without proof for self and family members and you are getting 3-5x the payment for the time invested in signing up and creating a few free email addresses.
Makes it very easy to track what you sign up for too when you use a few freemails for signs ups too.
This one though has great potential for me given my job for a decade was working around cars and getting parts quotes. Every time I ordered a quote on a part and that quote number was used - it was on record with me as the purchaser. Obviously do that 5 times a day - 300 days a year it adds up over a decade - even if my quote was used only 1/3 of
the time.
All I know is it was a guaranteed $100 for all purchasers with no proof (and who hasn’t bought a part for their car - either at an auto parts store or via repairs at a shop) ? That’s $100 on each of those and my regular email - well, I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to claim that one on my taxes next year as it will definitely be above the 1k mark.
So if you get paid over $600ish, you get a 1099 from the payer? It’s is considered income in general.
Anything over $599-1k in general is officially reported to the IRS and a 1099 generated.
That’s what you need to report.
Technically - you find a quarter on the street or buy a $1 scratcher and win $5 it’s “income” and reportable - yet no reasonable person does and if you did they would probably trigger a deeper dive as that’s just highly unusual behavior.
But get a big payday - Uncle Sam wants his cut of the “refund” received and it’s reported.
Get the money djeff... Get the money.
thanks!
