I just did this for a few min and won a quick $40 and walked away.
Play a $5 single deck (MUST be single deck), table & start with $5. Play by the book - don’t do things like hit on 18 when the dealer’s showing a 6 or anything else stupid. You win, pocket the $5 and keep playing $5. If you lose, bet $10, and if you win, go back to $5. Basically, double each loss but always go back to $5 - $5, $10, $20, $40, $80, $160, $320. If you somehow miraculously lose 7 in a row (has NEVER happened to me, BTW) and get to $320, stop, walk away, go drink. I’ll do this in Vegas if I’ve got a few hours to kill because it’s a slow burn and a grind to walk away with a few hundred bucks.
Oh, and ‘by the book’ splits and double-downs are like ‘free play’ hands and don’t count against your bank roll.
Good Luck!
I play a similar way in roulette but I add a dollar to each progression, play a 6 martingale sequence with a cap. I play to avoid a specific pattern. I’ve definitely busted out before but it’s a plus money system through the years. I wouldn’t do it otherwise.
