Understood completely.

I don’t expect a change in scenery to change everything - every place comes with its own challenges.

Fortunately I can log on and visit BMR just about anywhere. Reading JJ’s latest keeps me in check and reminds me how bad life could really be.
well some others here too u can kinda feel better about yourself as well. i wont name names lol

Don't live on the coast (or close to it).
Hurricanes are a biatch. The ones that hit your area are devastating. The ones that come close or are forecasted to hit you still cause a crapload of problems.

TUSCALOOSA is decent with the college type of town.

Mobile is ok. Montgomery is pretty backwards

Id say the Gulfport/Biloxi area is better plus it's closer to New Orleans which is the most fun and best food of all

Got an attorney i work with regularly in Mississippi - has always told me to stay to North side of the state. Southern Mississippi is extremely poor overall.

Overall - state is pretty rough shape - even compared to West Virginia.

-18 here this morning - that’s the temp, not the windchill.

This is bullshit - I am fine until it hits 20 or so - then time to move on.
I don't know how you do it. Id pick Georgia over Alabama any day. JS. 👊

Don’t know why exactly - wife doesn’t want to do GA.

I’d do N GA in a heartbeat. Was down there for work about 10 years ago in Macon and got sent uo North to work. Really liked the area overall/we also looked at East Tennessee.

Macon was ok - but liked it more over towards Stone Mountain and Athens - close enough to Atlanta but far enough away from the traffic and the people.

Just want to be someplace where there winter is just not a prison keeping me inside.

I'll never forget the last time I was there in Ohio I believe it was back in 2010-2011. There was about 6 to 8 feet of snow on the ground. And cold AF. That damn lake effect. I thought to myself. How in TF do people live here. 👊 You gotta talk her into GA man. ✊
