You guys are killing me. Across the board tv ratings are either stagnant or in decline for all sports. Exception is NFL which is on its own island.

WNCAA is another exception but it has been only 2 years of this exceptional growth. And their biggest star is now gone. 2-3 years from now Clark will disappear in the black hole, also known as the WNBA. Which ironically is still around due to the sole reason of NBA completely supporting it. NBA makes enough money to support a money losing league.

The NBA is the third biggest sports league in the world in terms of revenue. EPL, NHL, NASCAR, PGA, UFL (… wtf!?… lol), etc. are not. Only NFL and MLB have more revenue.

Load management and not knowing if a “star” is playing or not
Way too many three pointers and little to no defense
Brand name players constantly changing teams
Teams not having a true identity by wearing many different uniforms and colors

IMO the NBA playoffs and the NBA regular season are two entirely different things. The NBA playoffs imo is definitely worth watching because these guys lay it all on the line in pursuit of a championship. You may not like it and that's fine but everybody i know at work is either watching it or bringing it up so I think the NBA is fine.

I agree it's pretty good because they actually play defense and guys elevate their play with a championship at stake. It is night and day the difference between the regular season and the playoffs so that's why I always make sure to tune in to the playoffs even when I don't have action on the games.

Not unusual I don't think. If you are not a fan of the NBA, that last 5 mins can get you mad as hell watching for what seems to be an hour for it to be over. It makes it hard for me to watch. As much as I like offense, but they have got to start playing defense. The rating has not improved with.
average scores going up.
