1st greeter gets customer, no up system, no line system. You talk to them first, your customer if they are here for sales and not service or there for another employee

it's not a mad rush. We have a greeting desk, normally someone is sitting there. Maybe I have a delivery scheduled in an hour so I'm doing phone calls before the customer comes in

maybe I have an appointment in 30 minutes so I don't want a fresh customer. We have anywhere b/t 5-8 salesman working pending day of week and time of day so plenty of stuff to do. It's never a customer walking in and 3 people fighting to grab the customer

we have respectful salesman and good system. Also my desks faces up front and the door, so I hear the door open and can peak out to see who is walking in

6 desks face the front, 6 face the back side. Advantage always to front side facing the door

and YES my work screen faces me and I likely have a game on while selling a car.
