Robert Morris isn't a power house but GB is really really bad. Doug Gottlieb (think ESPN announcer) is the GB head coach and the high hopes they had when he was brought in have crashed. They have lost 13 in a row including a game to Mich Tech (Div II). Maybe they've lost their will to try.

Robert Morris has been taking care of business all year, beating teams ranked lower than them and losing to teams ranked higher. The exception is the loss to Detroit Mercy in OT Jan 2nd. They let the game get away from them in the last 2 minutes.

ATS the last 6 games for each team:

• Green Bay 2-6 (the two covers were +15.5 and +23.5 spreads).

Green Bay - they are so bad that the 2 teams that lost to them should be ashamed lol

I'm trying to avoid my first losing season in CBB in 4 years.

You will get there, trust the process as you are currently doing. Making adjustments is very key when things go sour.

VMI @ Citadel

Not a great pick but I see a slight edge here. Both teams are bad, really bad. But I like that VMI beats every team they are ranked higher than and Citadel loses to every team they are ranked below. I love when teams are consistent. Also, this is set to be a close game but, VMI shoots free throws waaaaay better than Citadel (77% vs 57%) and that will play out near the end of this game.

I capped this game at VMI to win by 3 so the pick-em has some value.

Jacksonville state will win this one at home. Since Scoggins went down with injury for Sam Houston, they've struggled. Jacksonville St. doesn't lose at home and Sam Houston doesn't win on the road. Jacksonville St is 6-2 ATS in last 8 Div 1 games, Sam Houston is 1-6.

When playing slightly slower teams (i.e UNC-Ash) they keep the pace high (72-74 possessions) and drive the total over this number.

UNC-Ash is slower with a tempo of 68 but when they play high tempo teams, similar to Winthrop, the pace speeds up a lot. In their last game vs USC Upstate (73 tempo) the game had 79 possessions. In mid-December vs N. Florida (72 tempo) the game had 74 possessions. UNC-Ash seems to get sucked into picking up the pace when playing fast paced opponents.
