Back from a short trip up North. Hopefully, we can build on the Oregon St. win from Thursday night.

Penn St. Vs Oregon
Penn St. +2-105

Penn St. got wiped-out vs Illinois on Wednesday. It was never close. They were down by 24 at half and never got closer. I like it when a team get the "crap" out of their system on the road. This home game vs Oregon should be a good bounce back spot. So far this season, they've played two top 100 teams at home and won both (Purdue and Northwestern).

Oregon pulled out a comeback at Ohio St. on Thursday. They should have lost that game IMO. Frankly, Oregon is getting lucky of late. Their last two games could have easily been loses. Maryland last weekend was another very close game they managed to win in the late minutes. KenPom LUCK indicator has Oregon at 18th in the country (which means, they are lucky-ducks). Also, the Ducks flew to Ohio on Thursday and then back to Oregon. Now they fly across country again yesterday to play today at Penn St. That'll take a little toll on them It's cliche to say, but they are due for a loss. This is a perfect spot to see it happen.

Finally, this has all the signs of being relatively close game. With the Penn St. expected bounce-back, Oregon travel, their lucky wins, being "due for loss", and the Nittany Lions playing at home, I'll take the points.

I want to bet W. Virg > Colorado today but they have too many question marks with injuries to pull the trigger....

Devries (?), Tenner and Hansberry banged up this week. Who's playing?
Who can take some of the scoring load off of all-american Javon Small?

Still trying to find an accurate and updated injury report on this team.
Game is at 3 ET.

Winner. Barely. Got there with a last second 3 near the end of the game.

Great win, Tank.

Baylor @Arizona

Arizona -5 -114
Baylor is playing 7 deep due to injuries to Love and Celestine (both gametime decisions due to ankle injuries). Arizona is fast paced and will run the entire game. Baylor is coming off a short turnaround from a road trip to Ariz St. Saturday that took OT to win, while Arizona is still at home after a game Saturday vs UCF.

Iowa @ USC

Iowa +3 -108
Perfect letdown game for USC. They just beat Illinois on the road. Iowa is coming off wins over 2 very good B10 opponents (Neb and Indiana). The Nebraska win took OT but the Indiana game was easy. Iowa has large edge on Efficiency Margin (17.2 vs 11.6).

Nova @ Xavier

Nova +3-107
The wrong team is favored in this game IMO. Xavier hasn't beaten a team in the top 70 all year. Nova is coming off a loss to #20 St John's but that could have been expected having beat UConn the prior game.

Of course everything depends on Nova slowing down Zach Freemantle. They don't have to stop him, just slow him down.

Texas Tech @ Kansas St.

Texas Tech -6.5-108

Let's face it, since Achor was dismissed from the Wildcats team, they are in disarray. They are 1-6 since he left. Their only win vs a decent Cincy team. Tonight its a whole different level of play. Texas Tech took ISU to the brink Saturday. They were up by 15 but fell apart and gave away a win against a top 5 team. I see them coming back even stronger tonight. KSU may be mailing in the rest of the season as the wheels are coming off the wagon. This should be a 10-12 pt spread IMO.
