I'm a big advocate of Hm Conferenence dogs, especially early in the conference season but.... UNC is playing well and NC St is just OK. You may say, wait..... They are both 11-3.....

But, SOS for UNC is #6. NC State its #249.
KenPom having NC State at #63 is over-rated IMO and that makes the 3.5 pt spread suspect.

I hate to say this but we're head to head tonight on the Carolina/NC State game. I took State because I think UNC could struggle tonight and NC State usually gives them trouble on their home floor. 3.5 isn't much but it's enough for me to side with the Home underdogs in a rivalry matchup. BOL Tanko this isn't my favorite of the 3 college basketball bets I made tonight but I am on the Wolfpack just because they're at home.

If this wasn't a rivalry game I'd probably double my bet. That was the only aspect of this game that told me not to bet it. Everything on paper says UNC will cover so I went with the data but, strange things can happen in these type of games.
